.otor runs extremely hot!
Replaced a old motor ,this one draws lot more amprage,dims shop lights when starting,smells like overheating?? HD electrican wire it so it correct its not going to last long! CHINESE JUNK!!

Instructions are not correct
Could not get motor to start. After bringing in an electrician, he noticed that the wiring instructions were incorrect.

Did a good job replacing a three phase motor.

Working but seems under powered.
Motor is working on my leroi air compressor which is rated for 5 to 7.5hp. I purchased the 5hp as that's what it had on it before. However this motor seems more like a 4hp. It has trouble starting my compressor. Once warmed up it does ok. Yes I changed to thinner oil and it helped. Warming pump on cold days also helps. But didnt have to do that with last motor and SAE30 oil in it. Anyway. Just did a bunch of body work and paint with it and it ran ok. So hoping for the best. Just consider, power rating might be and probably is on the low side of the rating.

It worked for 5 months. No warranty
The motor only lasted 5 months. Pay more for one that has a warranty.

It's fine for not wanting to spend $$$$ on a new compressor.

DO NOT BUY 1.5 months the Motor Burnt Out
After only 1.5 months the motor burned out and Amazon will only return up to 30 days.
