I have damaged the ligaments in both of my thumbs and as a result have lost the grip in my thumbs. These supports are very well made and comfortable. The virtually immobilised my thumbs in a comfortable and neutral position. My thumbs are still not 100% but these supports have helped a lot and I will continue wearing them. Overall I would say they are a great product and I would recommend them to anyone who has thumb trouble and needs a comfortable support/splint. The customer service is brilliant too! These things are worth every penny and I’m glad I got them.

It's a good quality product, well made and offers good support, but the sizing lets it down hence 3 stars overall. However, the sizing guide is not accurate - I measured my thumb at 7cm, well within the claimed 9cm max size, but it is uncomfortably tight so just bear this in mind when ordering! I can make it work by wearing it slightly differently, but a shame that this level of inaccuracy exists.

I've got arthritis in the scaphoid bone in my right thumb/wrist and is extremely painful. This amazing product is really easy to use and gives me the right level of support. I really like the fact that you can remove the metal stay. The aftercare you receive is also excellent. UPDATE. I've now used this product for a while. It is an excellent product but I found the thumb part slightly too long for me personally. Otherwise its a great fit.

Bought for husband who injured hand/thumb thanks to a boisterous grandson. Main support is great but the thumb section is small. Tried stretching it as suggested but still not enough so went to plan B, undid some of the stitching, tidied with needle and thread and use the Velcro strap to secure it. Husband's thumb was going numb before opening it a bit but it is fine now.

Did the job just nicely. I strained my thumb after a move by lifting, gripping, carrying items between properties and it really felt like a ligament/tendon/muscle was on the verge of snapping. Very painful. But as soon as I used this support it instantly felt better. I like the fact that this support has a removable metal splint. I used it for about 5days with the splint in to prevent any movement of the thumb, and then the last 3days with the splint out to start partially moving it carefully. It fixed it right up. It keeps your thumb cosy as well and the heat also helps. Definitely needs washed after a week though!

The best Thumb Support Splint ever! I suffer from tendinitis, arthritis and functional limb weakness. I was in agony as my thumb kept cramping and bending like a hook. I was in constant pain and couldn't control my thumb. Fortunately, my thumb hasn't cramped or hooked since I bought this splint . It keeps my thumb straight and and I wear it day and night (doesn't make my hand sweaty). What a relief! I am buying a second one to use while the other gets washed. Thank you FinBurst UK.

My doctor gave me a thumb splint for my problem. As soon as I put it on, I had problems with fit. I did some research on other thumb splints and took a chance with the FinBurst Splint. I am so glad I decided on it. It is perfect for my problem and easily adjustable. I have a very small hand and splints are not so adaptable. The FinBurst was perfect for my hand and very comfortable. No problem with seams or metal splint. It can easily accommodate small, medium and large hands with its velcro straps. It feels annd stays secure. Great choice.
