Spoil Yourself Fr FR!
OMG! This is SO effin YUMMY!! I'm not used to tuna in oil and the times I've tried it, it was vegetable oil so the fish just tasted oily, even after mixing with the mayo, etc. But this is packed in olive oil and that takes it to a whole new level. The tuna is moist but still firm, a dark pinkish colour that immediately makes the paleness of water-packed tuna less appealing. Tasting it absolutely made me question a lot of my life choices, the main one being why I hadn't discovered this delicious option earlier. I want to describe my tasting experience as authentically as possible but I can't without sounding weird so you've been warned: Meat. This tuna tastes like a new version of red meat to me. It's solid tuna but what does that mean? It could be "solid" as a description of how it was removed from the fish and placed in the can. But clearly it can mean something else entirely, this "solid" tuna being actually solid, as in whole, thick, with a mouth feel that reminds me of a medium rare beef steak. It's slightly chewy, the taste is more intense than typical canned tuna and if I'm not totally crazy, the smell is nut actually "fishy". It still smells like fish, but it's subtle and it has a depth that isn't going to make your kitchen stink. I put mine in a bowl, mixed it with the typical stuff plus capers then spooned it on top of a cabbage salad. It was incredibly good and it's now my only tuna. It's embarrassing that I hadn't been spoiling myself with this delicacy years ago.

Great quality canned tuna in olive oil.
This is easily one of the best canned tunas Iโve tried, especially for the price. The flavor is rich and clean, and the olive oil gives it a much better texture than regular tuna packed in water. The tuna itself tastes high quality, not mushy or overly fishy and the chunks are solid and satisfying. I also like that itโs versatile. Itโs great straight out of the can or mixed into pasta. For something thatโs easy to keep in the pantry, it feels surprisingly premium without being expensive. Definitely a staple in my kitchen now for over a year.

The best tuna salad sandwiches. So much better than in water
This is the best tuna. Olive oil is the way to go. Tastes so much better. Costs twice as much (or more) as tuna in water but so worth it. You can get 2sandwiches from a can. That's still a pretty inexpensive sandwich.

Delicious, nutritious, and cheaper in the 12-pack than local retail.
This is a meal-in-a-can. Excellent cuts of thick, nutritious, and very flavorful tuna, perfused with hearty and rich olive oil. Absolutely delicious. This is not the junk tuna you find in the supermarket, floating in oily water. Much more in keeping with the gourmet tuna you find north of $4.00/can from Spain or Italy. Purchasing these 12-packs is much more cost effective than trying to purchase them locally, especially when you calculate in the cost of gas now, and the headache of going to the store, where at best you can only find them in the four-pack. Bravo Amazon. Bravo!

Strange Smell, but the flavor was great!
I was at first put off buy the smell. Like potted meat from the can, remember the old days when we ate that? So I was all about trying it. It tasted good but not like tuna without EVVO. I am not sure the EVVO had anything to do with the smell, but I don't think I will buy this again.

So good!
Best tasting tuna out there! Not mushy! It doesnโt smell too strong either. I eat it almost daily, right out of the can!

Flavorful high protein tuna
This tuna is excellent. Much tastier than tuna in water, and the EVOO is good for our bodies! It is a great high protein snack. I like it so much that sometimes I eat it straight out of the can.

Nice step up from the typical grocery offerings.
This is the best of the near-premium Yellowfin Tuna I've come across. Nearly a single filet, tastes great straight out of the can. Hard to pay twice the price for the super-premium brand; but I'll likely buy both for a while(or look for specials) and mix them. Pull-tab opening is a plus!
