I love these bottles. They're a great value, always well-packed, and they are made very well. The squared design makes them very space-efficient, which is more important than it may seem at first.The borosilicate glass lets me do some operations in the vessel itself, so I can use it for more than just storage. The lid is heat-resistant well above the boiling point of water so aqueous reactions that are heated can be performed in the vessel, sealed after heating (if you know the internal pressure won't go up), and then allowed to rest for however long the vessel needs to be left for. I do a lot of work that requires 12+ hour treatments and slow cooling of the bath is allowable. Constant heating would lower the bath duration but far less labor is needed by just closing up the Simax bottle and letting it sit.

I got this for making eJuice for my vaporizer. It did an excellent job. I didn't even need measuring cups because it has lines on the side. I would definitely order again! 5/5 perfect

This is a very nicely made wide-mouth glass jar, made of the same type of glass as lab beakers and flasks. As such, it's expected to withstand thermal shocks and it can also be disinfected in an autoclave.TESTING: Total capacity and graduation marks:Graduation markings on a jar like this are not meant to be critically accurate. All the same, I measured the maximum capacity as well as the graduation markings for accuracy, mostly for my own future reference. (From past experience, some products come with wildly inaccurate markings that are not even in the ballpark. So I just wanted to know if that's the case with this product.)As it turned out, the graduation markings on this jar are quite accurate, well within acceptable range of deviation in my opinion. (For example, the 1,000ml marking tested 1025ml. The absolute full volume was 1340ml. See the bottom for the full test results.) I was pleasantly surprised and impressed.The only slight con would be that the polypropylene cap was less than totally watertight on my sample, resulting in a bit of slow leak when I tested it with water.Especially considering the price, though, I think this is an excellent value and I really like it. Good non-plastic water bottle to keep in fridge

I make tissue culture media and needed a 1 liter autoclavable media bottle and I purchased this one. I had to clean up agar off of everything when I pulled it out of the autoclave and shook it. I gave it 2 stars because you can use it if you have literally nothing else.

Excellent, better than described in the current reviews. Top notch quality, thick glass, nice thick top/lid, big opening allowing to proper cleaning of the inside!Product is high quality and way better than the descriptions you will currently find in Amazon at the moment! But it, you won’t be dissatisfied. So far, so good!I’m in love with this lab jar so far👍👍👍

This is an excellent storage bottle. The glass is thick and smoothly finished and feels very durable. The bottle is very well made with minimal seams. The glass is of top quality and has a high degree of clarity with no distortion or other visible flaws. The heavy-duty top threads on easily and provides a snug fit that does not leak, as promised. I've used this type of bottle in the lab and now I have one for home use. We buy salmon oil for our pup, and store it in the fridge. It comes in a pump style bottle, which is handy, but it is light-weight plastic and also tends to leak, so I have to keep it on a saucer. I thought this would be a much better solution, and it definitely is. It is heavy-duty and I like the square shape as it takes up less room for long-term storage in my refrigerator, and it looks completely different from all of the Mason jars that are also in there, so I can easily spot it. I just keep a pipette right in the bottle for measuring out the right amount of oil. This is such a versatile bottle and can be used for so many different things, too. The quality is much higher than several other sets of scientific glassware that I recently ordered that turned out to be made of thin, light-weight glass. This bottle is a bit pricey, but worth the cost. It was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. It is a product of the Czech Republic...
