I buried the bottom step because not needed. The provided bolts and bit were spot on. Using a 10X2 board and the above, makes it extremely sturdy. Would buy again!

Overall a wonderful product. Had a bit of difficulty locating a more efficient wrench to get into tight places to screw the nuts onto the bolts to attach the wooden planks to the stringers, but we are happy with the finished product.

These things are pretty good. I like that they come with all the screws, and concrete anchors, plenty of them, and a wrench and even the concrete bit. That being said the concrete bit wore out quickly, and it was a little small for the anchors. I had to do a fair amount of YouTube research to figure out how to install the anchors, you have to drill the right size hole to be able to tap the whole assembled anchor in there with a hammer, then unscrew the screw, put the Stringer on, then screw it in and tighten it with the little wrench. I ended up needing to rent a hammer drill to drill into my foundation properly, I use these to put new steps in my bulkhead basement exit. They are also a little inconsistent, some of the straps at the top are bent and not everything is level, but just measure and level everything carefully and you can make it look good and be solid.

Loved these! Amazingly easier to install to my deck that a wooden risers. Could be a little heavier duty, but perfect for my deck.
