Benadryl Ultratabs Allergy Relief Medicine, 25 mg Diphenhydramine HCl Antihistamine Tablets for Relief of Cold & Allergy Symptoms Like Sneezing, Runny Nose, & Itchy Eyes & Throat, 48 ct

Benadryl is an old friend; I've been taking it for many years - first, before the present generation of preventives (i.e., fluticasone propionate) were developed, and still today when sudden exposures or non-nasal allergy symptoms raise their ugly little heads. The tiny tablets are easy to swallow and are well-coated to prevent having to taste the medication itself (which isn't pleasant - it's very bitter). My only complaint is with the blister packs; it's VERY difficult to get these tablets out; the backing of the individual pills is pretty much childproof, to the point that they're almost ADULT-proof! I've had to take scissors or other implements to them, and that's a bit over the top. But once you get at them, the product is excellent.

Our dog, and us humans, use this and it works really well. We live in a city that's considered to be one of the worst places for allergy sufferers. We deal with them all year round so it comes in handy to have these in our medicine cabinet. Our Goldendoodle gets them too and has sensitive skin so lately it's been irritated due to his allergies. Plus, he has separation anxiety and this happens to help with that too. We have to mix it in a treat of some sort, or those pill pocket treats, and even then he doesn't seem to like the taste but he still takes it We don't use it all of the time for him but it's highly effective when we do!
