Sharp Lid
Overall I'm satisfied with this product. It did arrive with a small dent in the lid. One thing to watch out for is the lid for the mailbox is very sharp. I sliced my finger on it just getting it out of the box.

Defective product ( lid came off hinge - lacking quality control)
At the delivery, the item came already with the lid broken off from door hinge on the left hand side as soon as I opened the package for inspection . I did not have a chance to install the mailbox. It was a disappointment because I really like the design and appearance of the mailbox. The material is good but the mechanism of the lid is very poor made. I read the complaints from other buyers who also had the same issue. This is a failure of mechanical construction. Therefore ,I had to return the mailbox or else I would have to reconstruct the hinge and fix it somehow if I wanted to keep it.
