Original EB-BG900BBE battery for Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy S5 Plus, replacement battery with over voltage protection in bubble wrap.

So the battery arrived, not in a Samsung box they way it shows in the picture, but in plastic ‘glitzy gizmos’ packaging the way they come when you buy a cheap one from the newsagent. There is nothing to say this is genuine, or even new, but it looks suspiciously like it’s not a Samsung original. Not happy, because I expect to get what’s in the original description and what’s in the original picture, in the packaging shown. My husband is reluctant to even try it in his phone, but if he does and it’s good I will post an update. Lesson number 1 - read the reviews before buying...

Battery life was about half that of the original battery that I have been using for the last five years, which made it rather pointless replacing. The battery did not come in the original Samsung packaging as shown in the picture which I thought was very underhanded, which then leads me to conclude that it must be second hand.

The battery failed after some 3 months. All of a sudden it needed recharging after 2 to 3 hours and then took over 24 hours to reach maximum. However Amazon agreed to make full refund

Did not arrive in samsung box as in pic. Im convinced its from an old phone as you can see marks on battery connections

Not good at all, phone just kept flashing on and off, took battery out in the end and put old 1 back in. Unfortunately I read reviews after I purchased

It has made my phone a 2nd life at a very good price.

Just needed a replacment. This was good value. No isdues.
