This book is very informative. I'm a first time bonsai person and it's been very helpful

I find the art of bonsai fascinating. This book does a nice job introducing the art form and explaining how to get started. I liked that there were so many photos. For example, the book says you need root pruning shears and then shows a photo of what those look like. I found this very helpful. I also enjoyed the question and answer portion of the book. I had some.of these questions myself, so having them answered by an expert was nice.

Bonsai are beautiful, but I didn't really know much about caring for them. This book is full of secrets and techniques. Now, I feel confident about caring for my beautiful Bonsai

I am brand new to bonsai and am very happy that I bought this book before getting any plants. I never realized how much I needed to do before acquiring my bonsai. I have three plants now and am very pleased with my progress in training them.

Really not all that useful. I highly recommend Peter Chan‘s MasterClass, far better, explanations, and illustrations. It’s a lot more expensive, but highly worth it. For beginners, it’s a much better book, and for experienced people, it’s a must have. Peter Chan is incredible, and I highly recommend his YouTube video series Herons Bonsai. It provides master classes in Everything, Bonsai.
