I’ll admit, I was a little apprehensive at first. Looking at the size of such a small unit, I was sceptical about the quality of sound it would be capable of delivering. However, I have been so amazed by its performance that I’ve taken the time and trouble to prepare this five-star review. This compact unit has replaced an aging Pure DAB radio in my bathroom, and the difference is night and day. The sound quality and volume are excellent for my needs; in fact, the audio is significantly better than the Pure. To be fair, my old unit was getting on a bit and the speaker had become quite "jarring," but the quality from this compact radio really is first-class. The biggest win for me is the volume—I can now actually take a shower and listen to the radio, whereas previously the sound was always drowned out. OK, it'll be no good for a party but, it's small size makes it perfect for any location around the house. The compact size is also absolutely perfect for a bathroom setting where space is at a premium. While I’ll predominantly be using it for DAB radio, having the extra functionalities like a Bluetooth connection and a headphone socket is a fantastic bonus. Lastly, the setup couldn’t be simpler: extend the aerial, switch it on, press a knob, and away you go. If you’re looking for a high-quality, space-saving radio, I can highly recommend this item.

The radio itself is great, does just what it says on the tin and the sound quality is pretty good. However, I clearly got a returned item as it arrived in a plastic bag with ripped sellotape and the radio was scratched and stained. I couldn’t be bothered to return and order a new one but a bit annoyed that I had to clean it before using and it has marks of previous use.

Brought mine to take day fishing as the charge lasts 12 hours, took a couple of hours to fully charge out the box, pretty straightforward to use nothing complicated, you can pre set three stations, first scan picked up 86 stations. Sound quality is excellent.

This is my second purchase of this radio. Superb little radio. Purchased one to take to caravan and this one for bedroom. Good value for money.

It’s a very tidy unit. The POWER BUTTON is the MULTIFUNCTION button so it can be a pain turning it ON/OFF without having to go through all the options. Sound quality for its size is good. It’s clear, crisp and the bass is adequate. The reason I sent it back was when I put the Radio on CHARGE the Signal would drop. But when unplugged it was ok. Tuning was simple as was storing the stations. It nicely weighted. Functionality again it’s fine except when you charge it. It was my only bug bare hence I’m returning it.

Radio is just a little bit bigger than a coffee mug I can't believe the sound quality it's phenomenal given the small size but if you play it too loud it will distort the sound. sadly there's no tone controls because it would be ideal if one could turn the bass down a bit. Charging the battery from flat takes two hours 45 minutes and I've measured the capacity at 2000 milliamp hours which is exactly what the specifications say.

My old Dab radio was too heavy to keep carting about and also had to be plugged into the wall. This one is like a large duplo brick and I can move it around as easily as a mobile phone. The sound is okay but nothing to write home about. The overall look is good but the button functions are really hard to read in most lights. I've tried several times to set my own Dab presets but to no avail following their instructions so I just scroll through the alphabetical list each time. Its beauty is the USB charging ability making it as companiable as a mobile phone. I also feel as though I'm saving electricity. I do hope when the regular Dab stations are switched off, that this radio does what it says on the tin (reach DAB+). I haven't used the plug-in USB function whereby you can play music off your USB's. Neither have I used the BT function. If you want portability, get this. If you want an alarm and easy to read buttons, then think twice.
