Very happy so far.
Took about half a day to install it. We went out and bought a tall 23 gal. Propane tank. Got it filled for about $100. Now we will see how fast we go through the propane. We started with the temp at 120 degrees. Wasn't quite hot enough. We turned it up to 130 degrees and we are getting plenty of hot water! Doesn't take long for the water to get warm. But it's only a short distance from the Master bathroom. The 2nd bathroom takes a little longer. It's the guest bathroom, so not too concerned. The unit itself isn't too big. It's mounted to the house on the outside above where the old tank was. Actually looks very clean and nice. Hoping this continues to work perfectly for a very long time. :)

Impressive
I owned a competitors it workedThis is very nice technologySafe and very efficientI'm sold...One thing is the company parts department is lacking... I called to get the cover for pipes long wait time 55minutes got transferred to warehouse they said yes we have 450 in stock...Cool can I get one?Yes go online and place incart select buy...You think I didn't already try that?Anyways it said in-stock placed in cart than said no longer for sale.Called next day waited again long time the said I'd have to buy a whole install kit I didn't need said okay went to buy it and wouldn't you know it unavailable.I'm very understanding but this is just a cosmetic pipe cover for a brand new unit. What if it's a important part?Heater 5 starscustomer service 1 starCould be a deal breaker for someBut I've never called competitors customer serviceI'm sure it's just a similar run aroundBest heater I've owned

I hate this water heater
The problem is that whenever there is a power outage, the wired low voltage remote will not restart without you turning off the water supply and then repowering the remote. I my case the heater is outside and the remote is inside, they are not close. Rheem acknowledges this system failure but does not have a fix that I know of. Since it is low voltage, it seems that an internal battery might solve the problem. Or I've considered installing a battery backup in a weathertite box. I have four Rinnai tankless propane waterheaters on my ranch and I have NEVER had a single problem. I regret buying Rheem!

Remember to flush annually.
Replacing a different model of the same brand. All the connections matched without major modifications and installation was simple. Exterior mounting location. Looks to be durable. For the sake of warranty, I utilized a contractor.

Great heater
Great heater have it installed for about two months now and everything is working like it should. It’s great not to run out of hot water

Handy for a food truck!
Fired right up when hooked up to Lp and water. Cool design for outside mounting. Installing was interesting as the port for Lp says “GAS”…so I worried I received a natgas version. Was feed port for the Propane as ordered. I would still label these as Lp for Propane and Natgas for the other to avoid worry and confusion! Otherwise good so far

FINALLY FULL SHOWERS WITHOUT ANY HANG-UP. DELIGHTFUL!
Been using it now for several months. Such a difference from the old one, well worth the price. Responsive, reliable and sensitive to on and off demands.

Difficult
Not 1/2 compatible despite their claims. No error handling for out of propane situations.Only 140F, and must be turned on ahead of time.Wasteful design vents off unnecessary heat rather than reducing propane flow
