I stumbled across this item when looking for a creative solution for a young adult's first-time state ID card holder in order to vote for the first time. Of the many requirements at DMV for an ID, one of them is to have 2 forms of identification. This is kind of like how some jobs require you to have experience in order to get hired and gain experience - when it's a prerequisite to have the thing you're trying to get for the first time, it can be tricky. Thankfully, this item checked the box perfectly for a form of ID with the individual's picture and name, and it helped meet the requirements needed to get an ID.Yes, this item can be a little pricey for what it is, but the company does a great job customizing and making it exactly as you design it. My daughter was so happy with hers, that my youngest child wanted one for himself too, just to say he has an ID card! We got him one, and he's thrilled with it.Bottom line: If a customized ID/badge is what you're looking for, and you don't mind spending close to $20 to have one just the way you want it, this is a great choice and customizing is fun & easy.
