This is fairly well-made, for such a simple little instrument. It's attached to a string that keeps it safely in it's carrying tube when not in use. We panicked at first because the instrument slipped of the string and we thought we'd broken it -- but you just slip the string back into the groove, pull it taut, and away you go. Had great fun experimenting with sounds, and looking forward to playing more! Shared it with a young child, who thought it was the most fun she'd had in ages!

Never owned this type before, I've always had the typical bent metal bar with a spring metal leaf for the twanging. These are all one piece and have an awesome sound. Very happy with them. So far they've held up, and I've wailed on them pretty good, so it's just gonna be a matter of how well it was cut. I'm saying this because I've seen reviews where people mentioned the leaf broke away from the body, but mine are still good after pretty heavy use.

Dan moi is easiest type of jaw harp to learn and is very fun to play. The assortment of sizes is nice but two of them did not work well since they were not cut precisely enough. I used a needle to fix the areas that caused buzzing but did cut myself on the sharp tines.I would have given five stars if they all passed QC. The quality is not the best and you can expect that there will be a few that don’t work without simple modifications.

These are a lot of fun, very easy to learn. I'm glad I got a variety of sizes because the biggest ones (5" long) are a little uncomfortable for me. (They still work; it's just hard to hold them securely between my lips and keep my tongue out of the way.) If you clean them with a soft dry cloth and apply a very thin coat of petroleum jelly, they last a long time.

Super easy to make noise with these. In moments you will be creating your own self styled music which will drive your significant others nuts. I suggest getting this along with dreadlocks and shaman robes so that people will mistake you for being mystical. I use it to relax before bed because the alcohol was getting too expensive. Honestly, these are a lot of fun, I just suggest that you use it alone and in the dark or at least until you get better. Please don't start your own YouTube channel playing the Dan Moi because the world does not need or want this. **Update** I have had to order 9 more of these for my friends. They are super easy to learn and everyone that sees it in action wants one.

Awful quality, vry difficult to make them sounds good let alone make a sound at all! I have used many jaw harps and these are cheep crap
