Basic T&P valve, exact fit and solid!

Its my water heater perfectly. Make sure you ise some teflon tape on the threads or it could leak through the threads, but that is required for all plumbing metal to metal threads.It does not leak through the valve seat, which is what happened with my last pressure valve.Manual pressure release (opening the valve myself) works as expected and seals up tight after.Easily recommend this valve. Just make sure to sew if the depth fits what you need first.

This relief valve looks identical to the one purchased at the big home improvement store for about half the price! And that one has a name I recognize. Everything here looks good with a solid brass body and a solid valve - just like the name brand one. The threads are clean and nicely made. You get a valve only in the box, no thread sealant but if you don't have a roll or 6 in your toolbox you probably shouldn't be installing this valve! Why this is twice the price of the one at the store is beyond me since it looks identical.

I needed the extended version for my water heater so I wasn't able to install this one. but, the build appears the same as the one from another brand. these are commodity items. So if this one matches your needs then this should work just fine.
