The rattan style shade works well for a rustic look. I'm happy to say that it is built on a solid frame. Another similar one I have is not and it just doesn't hang straight, so, this one looks a lot better. The supplied 59" cord matches will with the light. If you need it shorter it will be a bit of work, but that would be the same with any pendant light.In the first picture I put it on an existing setup I have as I wasn't prepared to attach it to a ceiling junction box yet. I used a larger amber LED blub in it which I really think it needs vs. a smaller one. This way is lights up the whole thing rather than a small part. I thought there might be more shadowing from the shade, but I suspect because of the style of blub I used, it wasn't there.The second photo is it without the light on but with the cord supplied. Like I mentioned, it matches up well.The third photo is the ceiling plate. I am very glad to see it wasn't just a wooden finish look but an actual wooden plate.And sometimes it is what you can't see that makes a difference too. The electrical wires are black and white, like they are supposed to be. I got in a pendant light one time that both cords were the same color and you couldn't tell, without a meter, how to actually wire it.Overall, a good-looking light in the right space.

Bought this to put above our kitchen sink and so far it's working out. It's not an overly bright light but with the shade it gives off a nice pattern of light.

Really loving the look of this light fixture, it adds a tropical flare that is very appealing to me. Guests have complimented on the style as well. Lots of things to love about, it installed very easily and able to adjust it to the exact height I wanted. Love it!

Went perfectly over my kitchen sink. Installation was straightforward and adjusting the height was easy. I took away one star because part of the cage was bent a little flat, but we just turned that side to the window.
