Good for amateur radio
Very good and versatile antenna for the price. I have used it with my Baofeng radios and got some very good amateur radio long distance contacts. Good value for money, I say.

cheap and cheerful antenna..works fine
Not much to say about this springy radio item. It works as an antenna for any SMF male equipped radio. 144/220/430MHz triband but only used on 70cm band for reception and it worked fine ...but don't ask me the gain. Springy enough to hack with fishing line and a tent peg as an impromptu rabbit trap while living off the land in middle of nowhere ...or just to make a rabbit spanker to discourage the rabbits from hanging out and nibbling the tent guy ropes

I got this to try on my Quansheng K6 radio and it has worked well. The whip is good weight vs flex ratio. It stays fairly straight without adding too much heft to the radio, and bends easily while returning to straight. I haven't gotten a chance to sweep it with my analyzer yet, so not sure how well it's tuned. It feels a little bit on the short side for 2m band, but seems to work fine there. I haven't transmitted with it on other bands. It receives well on bands I've tried listening - 2m, NOAA weather, FM broadcast, etc.
