Perfect spf for sensitive lips
I wasn’t sure about this purchase. So far, other lip spf products leave my lips feeling like they sting and just uncomfortable. For $20.. ugh. I bit the bullet! Glad I did! I’m used to just using aquaphor on my lips. And that’s great.. unless you need to be out in the sun. If you didn’t know, this will cause extra burns on your lips. So I tried the lip balm and was super surprised. It feels so light and nice on my lips. No white cast. Easy to apply. No burning or tingling. If you have sensitive lips, try this one. It’s worth the price!

Leaves lips white
Great sun protection but does leave white tint on lips.

UV Lip Balm- Great Line overall
My dermatologist recommended me this product and I use it everyday. It’s not clear, the product is white. I use it every morning and as someone whose lips burn in the summer this works great. The price is worth it.

Must have for lifeguards.
Love this product and brand. Our daughter is a lifeguard and wears it everyday. Our first delivery did come busted but they replaced with a fair amount of work on our end dealing with customer service.

Works!
My lips are very sensitive, but I have had no issue with this lip balm. It has stopped my lips from getting sunburn, but also keeps them moisturized. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it!

Disappointed then mad
A series of bad first impressions: When I first used this a big bubble of air expelled out of the tube and then it looked like it was half empty, then the product looked fairly paste-y and dry coming out, there was a bit of a white cast as I put it on (although it did sort of absorb in), and it did not feel hydrating at all to me, in fact I felt like it dried down to a chalky film that I could sense on my lips. I expected unscented/unflavored but it does show "flavor" in the ingredients list and was pepperminty and so it seemed a bit like toothpaste, which I didn't appreciate.I don't plan to buy this again. I appreciate the high spf number (for a lip product) and the clear instructions of reapply every 2 hours and 80 minutes time for water resistance, but I wanted something that I would enjoy using everyday and this falls short.Elta MD has a "60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee" for any reason, and Amazon is one of their authorized online retailers so you would think I should be able to get a refund from Elta; but no, if you find their full refund policy it is 17 bullet-points long! I have to request a refund from Amazon and apparently according to Amazon's policy this is not eligible for return/refund. Amazon was kind enough to grant me a full refund, but I am really not pleased with Elta MD, I feel like it was a huge bait and switch.I would suggest not buying this brand unless you're buying from an authorized local retailer that will honor the "guarantee".
