When I was shopping around for a new lunchbox, this 3-tier rectangular shape really stood out. I have seen 3-4 tiers on circular boxes, and also rectangular boxes that stack two, but this one was the first I have seen to do three tiers on a rectangle. I love the shiny finish, and it seems very sturdy. It holds a lot of food, so it’s great for anyone with a big appetite, or a picnic for two if you added a few snacks and drinks. It really is gorgeous, I love things that are beautiful and functional, and this one definitely hits the marks. The product description clearly states that the top tier is leakproof, but not the bottom two, which is exactly what it does. This makes the top layer perfect for juicey treats like papaya, or other fruits. The inner pod is perfect for small treats or nuts you may not want banging around the whole lunchbox. The only real downside was the difficulty of closing and opening the latches. Due to this I couldn’t really recommend it for smaller hands to use on their own, or anyone that has trouble with their hands. I have seen some other brands mention that their latches are adjustable to make them easier to use, but I haven’t seen that mentioned for this. For a lot of people, I’m sure the latches won’t be a problem, but it is something to mention, and for those shopping for kids or adults with hand conditions to be aware of. Still, it is a perfectly functional lunchbox that is gorgeous and unique. I’m very excited to keep using this one and I have no doubt that it will hold up really well over time. However, it is backed-up with a lifetime guarantee, so if any problems do occur, it would probably qualify for a replacement. This just adds a bit of pace of mind, and also tells that the company really believes in and stands by their products. They are a woman owned company, and they plant a tree for every product they sell, so it’s a company anyone should be happy to support.

i bought this initially bc i wanted something compact to fit in my work bag and it fit perfectly only that’s really the only good thing i have to say. i used it for a whole workweek to see how it is and it SUCKS! i bought the three layer box and the divider after one day of use had a weird almost banana like smell. granted i did pack banana on my first meal but the next meal i had was ceviche and it tasted absolutely horrible like it had banana and so did my next meals after that.. the divided section was the only part that was leak proof so the other two compartments are only good for dry foods which sucks but also the divided sections in the first layer would leak into each other. one of the latches don’t function properly unless you move a certain piece. another issue i have is that no matter how clean your hands are or wash the damn thing it will AWLAYS show your fingerprints. not a good look on stainless steel. speaking of which, when i started washing this thing every day i noticed the “stainless steel” started scrapping off.. i only used the soft side of the sponge. tldr: it sucks don’t buy it unless you’re suing it for like a snack box cuz that’s really only what it’s good for and not an actual lunchbox plus overpriced for what it’s worth

First off, I absolutely love that is comes with a seperate sauce container. The lunch box seems to be high quality and the latches feel sturdy. I really like the different compartments to keep food seperate. The size of the compartments are great. Perfect for a main dish and 2 side or snacks. I think it will hold up great to long term use.

Great portable size. Stackable container allows enough storage for full adult-sized meal. Love the tiny condiment container. *That item only fits in the top box. Cons & Deets: • All or nothing (no flexible bands are provided to enable you to use only 1 of the stackable boxes. Its both or none.) • the condiment container only fits in the top container • plan accordingly...top box holds more food. While both measure the same depth, due to the stackable nature of sealing these closed, the bottom container looses about 1.5 centimeter of depth. • do not recommend using bottom container for liquids as it does not have any water-tight sealing capabilities. The top box does. • this product does not come with any lid seal replacents...that'd be going the extra mile like some other international brands do.

I am very happy with the tiffin box. It is of high quality stainless steel. No interference with plastic .However, One must not expect it to be a bento box as the compartments are intermixable...although it is leakproof..that is liquid will not come out box and spoil the books. If needed, a separate leakproof box can be added in the box to include this type of liquid lunch items. Quite big to provide a full lunch in compact way.
