The product is very tasty & very enjoyable. If you never had truffles before its a great experience. If you love mushrooms in general you will really love truffles!!!Had some issues with my first experience & actually went bad two times, luck of the draw I guess. The seller even though thw mistakes where out of their cintrol, 100% took responsibility & fixed the mistakes promptly as any business should. A lot of other business could learn a lot from good sellers like this!!Highly recommend giving them a try well worth it to me!

I needed a truffle to make a Black Truffle Vinaigrette to go over Arugula and Pan-seared Scallops. That's a John Howie recipe, I'm a pretty good cook, but not in that class. So I needed a truffle - real truffle. 2 days later I had one. Five, actually - two large, two small, and one medium. Enough to make a 2 0z trial batch, a full cup for a dinner party, and one more, maybe for recreating my first truffle experience in Italy, Linguine in a Truffle Cream Sauce. Si, recommended? Unless you have a reliable source for fresh truffles, I'd definitely recommend these.

I am not really a fan of the texture of these truffles though the flavor is ok. I am going to keep looking for a product that meets the expectations set when I purchased truffles in oil in Greece.

No flavor at all. Waste of money.

I'll be honest, I'm not well versed in the flavor and authentication of truffles and this is my first experience using truffles at home. I've had many restaurant dishes that were superb so I wanted to re-create them. Expensive, sure....is it a good value, well..... I'm not sure but the jar will not go to waste. I'm quite happy with my purchase, I like the flavor, I cook for my small family and they seem to like it too. The packaging was great and had many layers of bubble wrap. No leaking. They are in a brine so I cannot comment truly on freshness but they are thin sliced and hold up well in a dish.

I've ordered truffles previously in same and different forms, in this case the truffles were not as flavorful as I like. On the other hand, these truffles were slightly less expensive. So I am not put off completely, but just like any other aromatic food ie. blue cheese, horseradish, garlic I want to enjoy the whole full deal of culinary possibilities. Also I am open to suggestions of other alternatives
