I am 65 yo & was really happy that this trimmer was easy to handle & was not heavy for me to use it for hours. The battery life is great. Was able to trim for 3 to 4 hrs & barely used any battery life. It is very easy tochange the angle of the hedge trimmer & the extension was a gamechanger. I was able to reach at least 10 ft but on tippy toes gained another foot or so. This was a Mothers Day gift from my kids. The only thing I would change is I would ask the manufacturer to put a lock on the button so you would not have to hold it down the entire time. Maybe a safety feature, not sure but would be helpful if they added this feature for future models. All in all is a great trimmer & was a great gift. Mama is happy & you know what that means....

I am 1st time gardener and lawn care person and I am please as to how this machine works. I was able to control the trimmer to ensure was able to aligned properly.1. The trimmer is semi-light weight. It does cut through medium thickness branches2. The height extension is a plus due to my height (short) was great since I am short, my son use the trimmer & did an awesome job with higher branches.3. The battery life is great - I normally uses the product for 1/2 hour & it still works well.If you are 1st gardener this is an amazing product & I would recommend it. Please keep the blade guard to ensure the blade stays sharp.

I always take reviews with a grain of salt but I am going to give this to you straight. I’ve been using a very heavy Craftsman hedge trimmer for the last 10 years. It’s electric and yes I’ve cut the cord several times. Being old school I held out on going battery operated… until recently. First time out of the box, this Alloyman performed excellently. The batteries came fully charged (4 green bars). Yes, it is a bit on the heavy side but I wouldn’t consider it unwieldy. When extended it can be an upper body workout, but its long reach makes up for that. What used to take me 3 or 4 hours, I did in 90 minutes. On one battery I did all the bushes pictured (both sides) and still had one and a half bars left. That surprised me. I’ll be trimming again in the fall so I will update this review accordingly and if things continue to go well, up to 5 stars. If you’ve been on the fence about a reasonably priced battery pole trimmer, this might be the one you want to try. I’m glad I did.

No hedges to trim, but lots of tansy! Wasn't able to tell from the reviews or description if it would cut the tansy. Does a pretty good job of it. I cut for a good hour and the battery was still going. Not sure how long it would last. Con: it is heavy. Found placing it in front of me and dragging it backwards was easier than swinging it with the arms. Also, using the knee to push it forward worked. The safety thumb switch soon began to cause pain. It doesn't stay on; hafta keep pushing it or it stops. May tape it to the on position. Did all around the cabin and the path to the dock.

This is absolutely one of the best tools I’ve ever purchased. I like to keep my yard in good shape and I have a lot of tall and wide shrubs. This trimmer is light weight, far reaching and the battery life is amazing. It’s really been a life saver for me as the gas trimmer was getting a little heavy for me as I’ve gotten a little age on me now 😂 when attempting to reach the tops and middle of the shrubs - this trimmer makes the whole process a lot easier. I’m very pleased with it. 👍👍👍👍

I've been using this now for the past month and a half on some big arbs in my yard. It hasn't failed me yet .so much easier then my corded pole trimmer and lighter as well. Especially when when I have to ladder up to the top and shave them even. It stays sharp so far, and the battery life is great. We'll see, I still have quite a few arbs to go and will probably be doing this through the summer. The only thing I don't like ,and I thought it did, is the trimmer does not disconnect from the pole to use on closer trimming like my corded one. But overall I'm still happy with it.

The hedge trimmer lives up to it's promises. It cuts through small branches easily, and leaves even surfaces behind. There are many head and shaft adjustments. More than I will need.

Purchased this for my son’s small landscaping company. Battery lasted way longer than anticipated, adjustable angle helps to reach some tough spots. With the extended handle I did not have to move my ladder multiple times. At 90 I could trim the tops of the hedges without a ladder. Blades are sharp! Highly recommend!
