Handy, easy to use
For adding spices, like cardamon to tea, these bags offer a clean, easy to use method for seeping loose-leaf (bulk) tea. No fuss, no mess, just add the table spoon of tea leaves and drape it in the brewing container, and pour the boiling water over it. Just throw the whole bag away when the tea is done.

Very useful
I use these for fermented cucumbers, kombucha, and setting up homemade tea bags for travel or gifts. These are big and quality. I did occasionally have the string pull out of the bag, but this can just be tied around the bag if needed.Highly recommended!

Good flow.
These tea bags are working very well for my loose tea. They keep virtually all the tea inside, with only a few tiny specks coming through while still allowing the water to freely pass through. The bags are a good size for a large mug or a pot of most teas. For my mint tisanes, where I use a lot of mint leaves for strong flavor, the bag after steeping is full. The drawstrings are long enough to easily tie into a knot. The thread is thin, though. I sometimes make a second cup using the same teabag and often want to add just a few tea leaves more, and it is hard to untie the knot. I previously had bags with a thicker drawstring that I could easily untie and retie.

Not just for tea--great for coffee, too!
Nothing sucks more than instant coffee--so this is the perfect solution! I don't drink a lot of loose tea, but I do drink lots of coffee. My office doesn't have a coffee maker, and even if it did, I work out in the community throughout the day. So when I need an afternoon pick-me-up, I don't have a coffee maker on hand. I ordered these tea bags so I could put coarse-ground coffee in them and use them to make my cups of Joe without a coffee maker. All I need is to fill up Thermos with hot water, and I can make perfect tea around 2 pm.I'm certain that these little drawstring bags would keep tea leaves inside, without having floaters in your tea. I've been able to make coffee in them, without finding grounds floating in my brew. Just put your tea leaves or coffee in the bag and pull the drawstring. To make things doubly secure, I tie a knot that cinches the neck of the bag closed. One heaping teaspoon in a drawstring bag makes 8 oz of great coffee. For a large mug, I use two.I love that these are disposable. At home, I use a metal reusable coffee filter--but who wants to wash out and reuse tea bags? These are perfect as a disposable product.

Great to pack coffee bags for cruises
These muslin drawstring bags have been great for my loose teas I've been enjoying often these winter months. However, I've been practicing making to go coffee filter bags to take with me on my future cruises.Anyone who's taken cruises knows the free dining room coffees are generally pretty awful. Of course, they have cafes selling premium coffees but prices have skyrocketed since the pandemic. But not to fear, I've been making morning coffees with these bags and they taste just fine and the disposal is easy with nothing to wash but the cup. I fill each bag with approximately 1 tablespoon of my usual coffee grounds, tie a tight knot and let it steep for about a minute. For my next cruise, I'll prefill a bunch of these bags and put them in a tight zip lock bag and use their hot water dispenser and their cups. No more waiting in coffee lines too.About the filters themselves, they've been fine, no breakage or trouble so far. And, no more paper tags falling into my cup is nice as well.

Will not bust, easy to open and close
Now that’s a lot of teabags! I didn’t realize how many there would be when I ordered, I just wanted to have them on hand for the occasional Loose tea, herbal remedy and for coffee bags but at 200 these will last a very long time. See my pictures to show the size related to a sharpie. At first when pulling from the box, they seemed like they were budget but after I used them I had some respect for their sturdiness and ease of using the string. I like to leave them open and pour the water through the substance I am brewing and then close them off. They work perfect for this. (Previous bags I have had fold down and made a mess) I was able without any issues to pull the little string afterwards without getting grounds or leaves in my cup. Also, you can be confident these will not bust open! I have used them twice with my coffee, both times using a fine to medium grind, and I have noticed a slight bit of sludge comes through. You can see it in my pictures with the size grind I used. Likely next time I will not grind it so fine for this purpose. I thought you might like to know if you were wanting to use them with an herbal powder. I find no reason to not give them 5 stars.
