When we first got the bug trap it worked great, but stopped turning on after a two weeks. We tried changing the batteries, keeping it connected, but nothing worked. The idea of the device is nice and worked in the beginning but it’s sad it stopped working

I was EXTREMELY SKEPTICAL about this small device. I had a horrible outbreak from fleas from our porch loving cats, I had treated them but needed something else to help catch them. Along with a spray that worked WONDERS, I got this for our master bathroom. No matter what I did they seemed to be drawn to the bathroom and no matter how much I sprayed, it was still bad. We got the device and set it up immediately, very easy to put together and I didn’t have batteries so I used the plug in option. I was a bit upset after a couple hours nothing happened. Then I reread the directions and turned the warm blue light on. Still after a few hours only one or two. Then, that night, it was pitch black in the bathroom and my husband even saw it work, saw a few fleas jump towards it and get stuck, he looked up the window and saw a bunch. For us, it worked better in the dark. Remember it is a small device and only works for like 30 feet. So I’d remember that if you’re looking for a bigger coverage. It’s a little expensive for the size, but it worked for us and it was well worth it, going to buy more refills for the next spring/summer. The durability is also good, I hit it by accident a few times with the vacuum since you need to vacuum a few times a day, every day, to make sure you’re getting the eggs and other fleas. It won’t catch them all, but it sure does work and catches them. By the end of 4 or 5 days, we had 14 on the pad, plus the ones we killed that were hanging out around the pad but didn’t jump on. It was worth it for us. Might buy a couple more for individual rooms.

I waited a week to write this comment and give the product a try, but it doesn't work, my cat has fleas and it hasn't fallen a single one in this time, I don't recommend it at all there are better products, this product is losing your money.

This device is quiet and effective. I put it under furniture after having the house treated and this is picking off the surviving fleas. It also draws other bugs.

Flea Trap Refills - Replacement Flea Trap Glue Boards -- My flea traps are of a different brand than the one depicted in the ad, but these glue boards fit mine just fine. The glue boards are 5 inches in diameter. They are very tacky. I think any insect that gets on these is going to get stuck.Several years ago, I dog sat for a relative. Never again, for anybody! The dog was no problem but it unbeknownst to me had fleas. I received a major flea infestation throughout my home that took two months and enormous effort and expense to eradicate. The traps were not really for getting rid of the fleas, but for letting me know if they were still present. I got rid of the fleas, but it was a exhausting traumatic experience. In addition to the extermination chemicals, I had to clean "everything", rent a storage and temporarily move out a lot of possessions. Also, I had to vacuum the entire house every single day. The cycle of fleas, eggs, fleas just kept coming. I still put the traps out occasionally just to make sure no fleas are present. I’ll catch some occasional flies, gnats or mosquitoes but have not had any more fleas. Thank you, Lord!Oh, and typical relative, just made the statement "My dog doesn't have fleas" and left me with the problem.
