I only gave the product 4 stars because I thought the valve was an actual on/off switch which it isn't.I love everything else about the lamp fixture.It's very well made, solid, heavy, and although you could make one yourself, it would probably cost you more in time and money.I did however replace the shut-off valves with my own diy on/off switch, looks beautiful on the wall.Another reviewer mentioned that the wires were flimsy but that's not an issue because it's rated for 30 to 40 watts, that's only .33amps.After having them up for a week I decided I wanted to be able to dim them so I bought a wireless dimmer from Amazon which works perfectly. If I had thought of that before I wouldn't have added the on/off switch.I will be buying 2 more.

Neat light. But the base is smaller than typical 4” boxes. If mounting on a typical box, you will have to get creative on how to fill the gap.Simple design. No directions included. Blue and brown wires attached, yellow ground is detached and in the box.

This light fixture looks unique. It can be hung with the light facing up or down. We chose to hang it with the light down so it looks like a water faucet and the light bulb is a water drop. They are well made. The only difficult part was that the pipe is not big enough to cover the hole in the wall so my husband made a wall plate to cover the electrical box.

Although it was easy to wire up for operation (wires are a little flimsy), there were a couple of issues with the light that I purchased. First, the mounting bracket only came with 2 small silver screws and plastic drywall inserts. I expected 4 of each because the bracket has 4 wholes in it. So I had to purchase a set of for screws for it. Which was better in the end because I was able to get some gold ones that matched the brushed bronze look better than the silver ones would have. Plus I got some nice heavy duty drywall screw inserts. It went up on the wall nice after that.The second issue was the bulb did not light up initially. I double checked my wiring job, all seemed okay. I took the bulb out and tested it in a know good fixture, it worked fine. The issue turned out to be in the assembly of the light fixture. The socket, which appeared to be made of a plastic/ceramic hybrid of some sort was assembled too deep into the pipe mount so that the light bulb could not be screwed in all the way to make proper contact. I was able to break loose the socket from the pipe fixture and bring out more of the socket so the bulb would seat properly. After fixing it to the pipe by applying some clear caulk and letting dry, we were back in business.So overall the light is Okay. Had I not had to do all the extra running to the store and maintenance before the install I probably would have given it a 5 star rating.It looks great on the wall now!

it matches my anntique medicine cabinet. it is hard to find things for a 1944 house.

These are not easy to install if you plan on install them into an octagon box or any other standard US electrical box. I ended up buying octagon box covers with holes in the middle of them and then screwing the light directly to that for it to be held onto the wall. Also the electrical wires are brown and blue instead of black and white and there is not a ground on the fixture. They only include two screws if you decide to screw them directly into a wall but the fixture has holes for 4 screws.

Mounting flange diameter is too small to mount to a standard 4” round electrical box. I had to purchase a 4” flange, and a spray can of paint to match, to secure the fixture to the box.

I received the package today and when I opened it the red knob and screw fell out. The screw is too small and there are no threads in the hole to screw a different screw into. Message to shipper can I return this one and get a functioning one?

Der Preis ist einfach super. Alle Kabel inkl. Schutzleiter dabei. Was fehlt sind geeignete Kabelverbinder. Das Rohr ist sehr klein bzw. eng. Mit Lüsterklemme kommt man da nicht weit - man braucht Quetschverbinder, sonst wird das nichts. Diese sollten im besten Fall dem Produkt beiliegen, tun sie aber nicht. Deswegen ein Stern Abzug. Wenn ihr die nicht schon zu Hause habt, bitte zusätzlich bestellen. Ansonsten alles fein :)

I wish I could give these a 5/5 but there are some issues:Pros:-Look good-Made of actual threaded metal pipe. ( I had assumed they would be plastic.)-The treads match standard 3/4 pipe so I was able to add bits of old pipe and valves to make them look even more authentic.Cons are safety: You have to be a bit of a handyman.-Not UL or ETL or CSA listed which is a requirement for 99% of installations in Canada. It is lawful to buy/sell unlisted products but the electrical code doesn't permit installing them. I feel safe installing them in my home but I would never install them commercially.-Wire gauge is too thin, at 18ga. Standard is 14ga. This doesn't really matter if you're using LED bulbs with a low wattage. However, with 60 watt &up bulbs could put too much load on the wire and heat it up.-The mounting plate is a pipe flange, not meant compatible for an electrical box. This was a very easy fix for me to drill out an octagonal box cover and add some bolts, but, I think for alot of buyers this is beyond their skill level.

Die Optik dieser Lampe ist sehr schön und entspricht meiner Erwartung.Wie schon andere geschrieben haben, ist der Sichheitsaspekt fragwürdig: Die Rohre sind innen nicht entgratet und die dünne Isolation der Kabel liegt an diesen Stellen an. Eigentlich sollte trotzdem nichts passieren, da die Lampe ja nicht in ständiger Bewegung ist aber eben nur EIGENTLICH. Wenn die isolation beschädigt ist/wird, dann ist das eine gefährliche Geschichte. Auch das Erdungskabel gibt mir Rätsel auf, da für dieses keine Stelle zum befestigen vorgesehen ist.Nun gut, mit etwas handwerklichen Geschick sind die Rohre schnell entgratet, die Kabel mit zusätzlicher Isolation versehen und die Erdung findet ihren Platz.Da ich mir vor dem Kauf einige Rezensionen durchgelesen, war ich mir der Minuspunkte bewusst und somit nicht überrascht. Es wäre unfair, wenn ich das nun negativ bewerten würde, da ich es ja bewusst in Kauf genommen habe. Die Mängel werde ich beseitigen und mich einfach an einer schönen Wandleuchte erfreuen.Wenn jemand in der Lage ist die Schwachstellen zu beseitigen, sage ich: KaufempfehlungAber wenn die Lampe im Lieferzustand betrieben werden soll, sage ich ganz klar: Finger weg!

Ottimo prodotto e molto bello esteticamente. Unica pecca per la quale do 4 stelle che essendo totalmente in ferro necessità del cavo di messa a terra e purtroppo bisogna un po’ inventarsi per attaccarlo! (Nel mio caso messo sotto la vite della manopola)
