I ordered the white reclaimed wood for my kitchen and I love it. The woodgives my kitchen a warm feeling, to a all white kitchen. Highly recommendthe stinkwood for any room, except the bathroom.

I struggled in giving an honest review of one star. On the positive side, this product is clearly catered to high end tastes and meets the specs as listed. What's easily lost in pretty pictures and slick marketing is that this is a very thin veneer product that only retains value due to the lack of any competitive product on the market. If this sounds purely like buyer's remorse? Fine, call it a five star product, that is no more than what it claims to be.However, if you want to avoid the feeling of overpaying for a "new to market" style faux finish feel with similar qualities to wallpaper (ie. peel and stick illusion of weathered wood), take heed. Reminds me of faux brick, faux stone, and fake anything else. The difference is in this case, you are paying MORE for the knock-off. Congratulations to the owners and marketers of this product, seems like a pretty good cash cow for now. Or, you can ignore this review, take the buyer beware approach and have a clerk pull out a piece of this, put it in your hand, calculate the $ value of what you are holding, then proceed...mine would have stayed at the store.What happens to mine? If you are still reading...mine will go on a wall as planned. I will cross my fingers that the stickers hold and the finish doesn't fail. This is the focal point of my design and it is really not worth the effort to return and start over as the rest of the remodel would be on hold. I'm really not hating on the product or the makers, I do on the other hand appreciate real reviews that go beyond "was the item as described?". I will even go as far as to say to the maker of the product, half your price on this product and you will have my endorsement. Just not worth it otherwise.

I used this for a feature wall in my bedroom. It looks great and was very easy to install. Be aware that the glue sticks well and instantly. Once it hits the wall, it's not coming off, so place it carefully! Also, because it's real wood, it has real imperfections, including the occasional large hole. I recommend preparing the wall with a darkish paint. I would give it 5 stars, but the price...ouch.

This is beyond beautiful. We used as an accent wall behind the bed and I LOVE it. It's crazy expensive but incredibly beautiful and easy to install.

I do not mind paying the price if the quality of the wood is good. The quality of the wood does not worth the price. We returned the product because I did not want to put such a bad quality of prodcut on my wall.

This product is amazing. Goes up so quickly and looks gorgeous. We did the wall above my mantel.

I bought a sample of Stikwood and thank god that’s all I’m out. Each sample plank was broke in half, brittle and curled. No way this could lay properly on the wall. It’s very thin and the corners were chipped. Very poor quality.

We recently spent an hour with one of the owners of Stikwood touring the facility where they create this product from REAL wood. If you want to call it a "veneer" OK you are essentially correct because it's a thin slice of wood that is expertly cut from reclaimed wood and then strips of glue are added to the back. The core of the wood is further sliced and used for their other products, there is very little waste. Their warehouse was full of reclaimed wood and some very high tech machinery and skilled folks making their products. Really not sure why people would give this product a one star rating - can only surmise that they don't know anything about wood. To be fair we haven't installed the product - I'm agonizing over which type of wood/color I want to put up on my living/dining room and bedroom accent walls. Once decided and installed I'll update review.
