First of all, I honestly do not understand why there is only a 3.9 rating on this amazing little bottle of goodness. I hate makeup. I hate liquid foundations, I have been using powder foundation for years. I saw this advertised on Facebook and thought I’d come over and see if it was on Amazon. It was, it was expensive, but I thought oh what the heck let me try it. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!!! This is, hands-down, the best makeup I have found in all of my 61 years on this earth. It was really odd to me to apply foundation with a brush, but I did, and it really goes a long way yet there is very very good coverage. And what’s most impressive is that it stays on! I don’t feel like I’ve lost half my foundation after half a day. I will positively pay for this until I can’t afford it any longer. It is completely worth it to me.

I am over 50 and absolutely love this foundation. The color match is perfect and it goes on very smoothly. Does not cake in my lines or wrinkles.

After seeing countless videos and glowing reviews on Facebook, I finally gave in and tried the Il Makiage "Woke Up Like This" foundation. I was really hopeful, especially since they ask so many questions to match your perfect shade. I took my time answering everything carefully.Unfortunately, the results just didn’t live up to the hype for me. The shade I received is too dark and leans very orange on my skin—it just doesn’t look natural. I tried different application techniques, even blending it out with other products, but it still didn’t work for me.The coverage might be fine for others, but I was expecting that flawless, skin-like finish everyone raves about, and I just didn’t get it. I’m disappointed, especially considering how much buzz this brand gets and the effort they put into the matching process. Sadly, this one’s a miss for me.Oh, and shipping took more than 30 days.

Professionally speaking as a licensed cosmetology, I give it a five. There’s pictures up and if you look through the sunglasses, you’ll see that it really does not fill in fine lines. It is smooth and not flaky, but for the price not worth it.

It was very drying to my skin. (I used the primer before using the foundation) The color was acceptible and very light feelingon my skin. Easy to apply. Fair coverage. Just very drying. Foundation was way to drying to my skin! I would not reccommend it for marure skin.

I took the quiz and my shade was perfect! It feels great too! It is not cakey or oily and is smooth and soft feeling. It takes the tiniest amount too, so the product is worth every penny!!

This is a beautiful foundation. It's smooth as silk, applies beautifully with a fingertip, brush (which is what I use), or a makeup sponge. It comes in lots of shades, but even if the shade turns out not to be a perfect match for your skin, it blends so nicely that there's no line.I have "mature skin" (though I always get compliments with words being used like "flawless") but am not very wrinkled. What I have found when shopping for and trying several different products (both expensive department store ones and drugstore brands) is that it is the ease with which the foundation creme blends. Some dry much too quickly and can leave lines. Others are not blended well, and the color streaks.Makiage is perfect! I am sticking with it until something even more perfect comes along, but I can say with confidence that I doubt that's going to happen any time soon.

I'm on my second bottle of this foundation. It covers well and doesn't leave your face dry. My face had gotten so dry that it hurt to apply makeup. And I had flakes something awful. I switched-up my face lotion (Cetaphil Dry to Extra Dry Moisturizer) and foundation and now, perfect. No flakes. No sting.
