The media could not be loaded.  There always some extra....but I'm making it work poor man's build...

I have a 86 C20 350 small block and this was actually bolt on ready to go very minor tuning worth the money less head aches and less long nights I’ll unpdate this the longer I have it

This carb casting mold was so bad that I would not want a carb of this poor appearance quality to be installed on a show car. The finish was ok but they tried to cover up the poor casting with the shiny finish which highlights the casting imperfections. Shame on Edelbrock!

Description says it won't fit my 58 Edsel Corsair, but it actually does fit like a glove. This carburetor solved all of my fuel and performance problems. My Edsel hasn't run this smooth in 22 years. Thanks for offering such a great item at a fantastic price!

waited several weeks for this to arrive from the states opened the box to find no fuel inlet fitting on the carb ,no gasket, no manual and cd, only one choke wire i would return it if it wasnt such a performance sending it back to the states .had to order new gaskets and fuel inlet which has cost me an aditional £35.00

I bought this carburetor because I was sick of messing around with the Quadrajunk that came with the 307 in my Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham LS. I needed to buy the "Spectre Performance 5764 Universal 4-Hole/Open Carburetor Spacer" in order to clear the EGR mount on my stock intake manifold as well as the "Edelbrock 2696 Four-Hole Square-Bore to Spread-Bore Carburetor Adapter" and the "Edelbrock 8026 Trottle Valve Cable Adaptor" as I have an OD transmission. I also installed a block off plate over the EGR mount on the intake. The motor fired up and ran much better than it ever did with the Quadrajet even at it's best tune. After tuning the Edelbrock, I can reliably start the car in any temperature condition on the first crank. I have an HEI distributor, as opposed to a computer controlled one, so I connected that to the manifold vacuum port rather than the ported vacuum port. The stock GM fuel pump provided a steady 5.5 PSI so no regulator was required. After 10 years of dealing with cold start issues and other finicky behaviour, I am only kicking myself for not doing this sooner. I had always assumed that unpredictable acceleration power and starting problems were the norm with carburetors. I eventually bought the "Edelbrock 1487 Performer Series Carburetor Calibration Kit" because my 307 with the factory restrictive head porting didn't need very much fuel at cruise. Tuning and modifying this carburetor is simple and straightforward and I recommend this to anyone looking to simplify their motor.I would like to note that I've phoned Edelbrock's support line a couple times. I appreciate that the service exists and the people seem knowledgeable, but they've been rather condescending difficult to talk to. I apologize if I'm only 30 and not 65 years old and didn't cut my teeth on carburetors, but that's why I'm calling. Don't be a Sears or Harley Davidson and chase the same generation to the grave. Please embrace younger customers.

Bolted onto my 304 and no adjustments needed. Just started right up and works exelent. Would buy another if I ever need to for another project.
