I wear XL shirts and ordered a 4x like another review suggested. Perfect fit! It’s a left hand zipper so I think it’s sizes for a female as that used to be the norm for female clothing. It’s gender neutral in appearance.I like the overall construction and the thin mesh makes it great for hot summer months. Breathability is great and very comfortable. It is a good compromise if you are a “dress for the fall, not for the ride” type of biker. It would help for initial IMPACT, but doubtful for the SLIDE!Great value for the money. I won’t have a closet without one in the future.

I originally picked this item up as something I could pair with a lighter jacket so I could stop wearing my heavy hoodie that was the only gear with armor in it I had.It fit really nicely and was a good steal for the amount it costs. It didn't slip up constantly and wasn't stiff and the elasticity of the fabric helped it fit better because it was clearly designed for men like 99% of riding gear :(Definitely something you could wear on a hot day alone if you feel so inclined but it is great for pairing with abrasion resistant top layers without adding too much warmth to the point of roasting on a hot day.Overall, I liked it a lot. I only returned it because I ended up deciding to get an airbag vest and it had passive armor so I didn't need this anymore.

This shirt is 'simple' in that it's a CE padding holder without being heavy, sticky, clammy etc. It breathes well - to afford airy comfort on hot rides.Reading in 'Reviews' that it runs small, I just ordered 4XL (I normally wear Large) and it worked out fine.

Its like having a tshirt with protection

There is no way, in any country in the world, this is a 4XL. I wear 3xl and am not a small guy. This fit me like a LG. My arms are neither muscular nor fat, just average sized arms. I could not get them through the sleeves. If companies are going to manufacture overseas and sell in America they have to size their clothing items for our market. My best guess is you would need to make this shirt in a 6-7XL by your standards to be a 4XL in this country.

I was going maybe 25-30 mph and was quite literally run over by cadillac cts (3500 lbs curb weight) making a left turn into the oncoming side, my side. I was stuck under it until a tow arrived. Thank God the tow came when it did because I was losing my ability to breath and strength to push up the pipes to get my last breath. I thought for sure I must’ve broke something, my back, neck, and shoulder at very least. Ambulance took my to the cat scan and the doctor couldn’t believe they wouldn’t have to reconstruct my shoulder or back. I tested negative and had no broken bones. Guys, this is good stuff.

Upon arrival. The item seemed heavy. Ordered 2-3x. I’m 5”10 210 item fit snug but I believe it should. The sleeves seems a bit snug in the forearms and we’re difficult to get on and in proper placement for protective padding. When removing the shirt the pockets that hold the elbow stitching unraveled. Wore on a 4 hr ride in 98 degree heat. Was completely soaked and very uncomfortable against the skin. I’m sure it will not be nearly that bad on average day temps. All in all I think it will provide adequate protection as long as you have a leather layer over it. If the fabric of the item meets black top it will definitely not stay where it’s needed and will prove to be little protection. Will keep and use it but would not buy again.

Worked for me, hard enduro and stayed cool

The XL size of this jacket is a bit too tight and I’m not a large person. When putting it on, feels like it will tear at the stitches after pulling the sleeves on. I fear that it won’t hold up. The jacket is too short and when sitting on the bike it pulls up in the back exposing the armor. Otherwise it’s comfortable and suitable for riding during hot weather.

It lasted about 5-6 rides and then my sleeve stitches completely gave up. Would be nice to make it at least as robust as regular clothes... I can't believe such products are sold as safety bike clothing.
