I will be buying another one it is that good
Just finished off the garage and installed this mini split. It’s well made and works great. Very quiet. I had it professionally installed since I didn’t have the equipment to complete the line connections. Keep in mind that the line set appears to be metric and does not marry up to standard vacuum pump equipment. Just FYI. Everything else is great and the unit moves a lot of air. I just wish there was more ability to control temperature range settings. So far all I have figured out is how to set and hold a single temperature on auto or in the heat and cool setting. I was hoping I could set it to stay above one temp but below another. Does not seem to have that capability. Either way this unit is worth getting and the price makes it a no brainer.

Efficient, even in the humid Florida heat.
Been 9 months since I have installed this in my garage and so far so good. I installed it in a 25x25 foot garage, made of cinder block. I insulated the ceiling with attic insulation bare and set it to dehumidify the garage at 72 degrees. I live in Northwest Florida where today it got up to 93 degrees at a humidity level of 77 percent. The garage was at 71 with a humidity level of 30 percent. My electricity bill went up about 20-30 a month but the value of that is a garage that keeps my stuff safe from humidity and the resulting mold and creates a workspace that is comfortable to work in when it feels like hell outside. And this is all with no insulation on the walls and the non-insulated 16 foot wide by 10 feet tall garage door and 12 foot ceilings. Self installation was a breeze, all you need is a cheap vacuum pump and some gauges to ensure you have a tight seal before you let the refrigerant out into the system or for a nominal cost you can self install and have a certified HVAC guy or gal come out and make sure everything is kosher before you start it up.

Amazon refused to send the outdoor unit part of the order that i paid for
Only the indoor unit was delivered. I didn't realize it came in two separate boxes, as it doesn't state that anywhere in the description. I do not know anything about minisplit units, so I assumed it was fully delivered when a box arrived, and I decided it was best to leave it in the box until the construction was finished in the room where it was going. I was trying to get out ahead of the tariffs, so I wasn't ready to install it.When I did open the box and discovered only the indoor unit and no outdoor unit, I immediately called TOSOT, UPS, and Amazon in an effort to resolve the situation. UPS wouldn't even deal with it, and TOSOT and Amazon sent me back and forth between them trying to push the problem on the other.TOSOT and Amazon both ended up NOT doing anything to help. TOSOT maintains that it is an Amazon problem, as to where Amazon basically told me that they know it was not delivered, but since I was several days outside the return window they were not obligated to help and were not going to. So basically I have a TOSOT indoor unit for sale.

Works great with small complaints
Works amazing, was a relative easy install. One star was taken away due to poor installation instructions. It should have a template or measurements on where to drill the hole leading to outside. This caused a bit of a pain when mounting it on the wall as I had to add an extra bend in the line to adjust for the holes location.Another very minor complaint is the convenient unit outside (no stars were taken off for this as it could be fixed if I chose to mount it differently). However, I attached it to the wall outside instead of doing a ground mount. Now when I walk into the room while it's running it sometimes sounds like there is a distant helicopter (not loud at all) as it vibrates the wall.

Shipped fast and no damage
We purchased our 2400 BTU in late Nov. Order came fast with little dings and some torn cardboard on outside of well-wrapped boxes inside. We inspected and there was no damage to inside boxes at all. We did not plan on putting in until after Christmas but my husband was anxious and son-in-law was ready to help. I had originally called around to have it installed....the price blew me away. 1500 to 3000. Then found someone for 800 but he did not do any electrical. So husband said nope he would do it. I need to tell you my husband is 75 and can barely walk. He is a 100 percent disabled vet. So he started by crawling under the house and running the 220 wiring. He got all that done and a junction box put in and hooked up. He then framed a cement pad and went and got cement and made a nice size pad for the condenser to sit level on. I bought the rubber feet for it to be anchored to and sit on which he did all himself. Son in law came two days after Christmas to help. Husband had it all done but hanging the inside unit itself. Ohhh they did have to drill hole in wall. The hole drilling took longer than any of it...lol . Together ohhh and I guided the lines...lol It was all hung and ready to hook lines up in 4 hours. I did buy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LBLDZ89?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title to help put this in and husband used it with no problem. It was ready to turn on the next day.So we put the batteries in the remote and were ready to watch it do its thing......then boom it didn't work....ohhhhhh no.... So I called the tech number with no answer as they were on holiday or I called after hours. So I wrote them. I got a call back the next day which I missed and an email back. They requested pictures of the wiring my husband did. I sent this to them, and they called back again after receiving the email with images from us. The gal I talked to was looking at the pictures of the email I sent back and said you have the inside wired right but the outside is wrong. My husband corrected this and boom she started right up with the remote and then I hooked it to my wifi with no problem, so now we have it set up that way also. She works beautifully and is so quiet. I can't thank their customer service enough and did voice our concern with the instructions on the wiring. They said they are looking into that. They solved our problem with one phone call and email. The email they sent back clearly showed the correct wiring. Customer service was spot on for us. We are extremely happy with our choice in purchasing of this product.
