Nano x Hello Kitty

As a 90’s kid this made me feel very nostalgic! I love the hello kitty twist, it is so cute! Hello Kitty will bring your tamagotchi milk and apple pie and if you’re lucky she’ll deliver a bow for your tamagotchi to wear! I loved it. Of course my tamagotchi has since up and left me due to neglect haha but I’m looking forward to starting over when I have a little more time. This feels really small in your hand (pretty sure it’s smaller than the original) so if you are an adult with large fingers then some of the games may be more difficult. It’s also not as annoying as I remember it being as a child. I think beeps maybe every 2-5 hours but there’s an option to turn the sound off as well.

It’s cute and small, so it’s easy to keep in your pocket and check on it every once in a while. It’s real easy to set up, just read the instructions real quick. I’ve had it for a day and it’s been working perfectly. I was worried the hello kitty design would scratch off but it hasn’t at all. I guess a few things is that you can’t “pause” your tamagotchi by leaving the screen on the clock, and minimal functions. Hello kitty helps you take care of your tama by: Feeding pie and milk, cleaning after Joey, turn on/off lights, play 2 games. You can also turn the sound on/off As a Sanrio fan, it’s worth its price.

Grandkids loved it

This item isn’t like the original tamagotchi you might have had in the 90s or the new color Tamagotchi Ons (and the like). It’s a nano, or mini tamagotchi, so it’s tiny and the features/functions are limited. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I haven’t had any issues with mine. I preordered several months in advance and have been using it since I received mine at release. Basically the game has 4 functions in addition to the time: feeding, games, cleaning, and turning the light on/off (when your tama sleeps, which they will do at 10pm). Feeding: if your Tama is hungry, you can feed them an apple pie (delivered by Hello Kitty), and if they’re sad, you can offer them milk (also brought by HK). Games: You can play 2 games, a piano and a balloon game. I honestly found these more challenging than the ones on the Tamagotchi Ons/Meets, but maybe that’s bc this device is so tiny. As far as I can tell, unlike in those versions, playing games doesn’t impact your Tama’s happiness. Cleaning: If your tama makes a mess, they’ll chirp and you can then press A to clean up. Light: Once they go to sleep, you can turn the light off. (I’m not sure if leaving it on makes a difference.) That’s about it. While this is a cute device, especially if you’re a fan of Hello Kitty, I’m not sure if it’s the best toy for a child bc of how small it is and how limited the functions are (they may get bored/frustrated quickly). That sad, you can neglect it compared to the Tamagotchi On/Meets for a lot longer, but you also can’t send it to a hotel/babysitter, either. One thing I will say is for such a small device it is LOUD. It also uses special batteries, though so far they seem to last longer than the AAAs do in the Tamagotchi Ons/Meets. I saw people complaining about this not including instructions, but it does. The paper is sandwiched between the layers of cardboard in the packaging, and are in several languages. I’ve included some photos, including one with a ruler and besides the large Tamagotchi On for comparison. It’s about the size of the screen on one of those. (Please note: I’ve added a crochet case to protect it and keep the decals from rubbing off, and I’ve changed the chain to a fabric strap, which are not included.) Overall, I think it’s not bad for $20, and I’m happy with it. Just make sure you know what you’re getting. If you want a more interesting/engaging Tamagotchi, and are a Hello Kitty fan, I would highly recommend importing the Sanrio Meets. It will cost a lot more but is worth it.

I’m in love with that and if I have to say something I will admit I’ve had two of these in the past but I’ve lost them so oops but it’s really cute and it’s also really small so if you don’t want something that’s too small or you know you might lose like I did you should probably buy a bigger one. It is a little pricey, but it really adorable.

My daughter was obsessed with Sanrio on her ninth birthday so when she asked for a Tamagotchi we knew this was the one we need to get. It is smaller than the usual Tamagotchi‘s, but my 12 year old had a classmate that owned this one and said it was a lot of fun. My daughter loves seeing Hello Kitty come on the screen so even though it is smaller, and I wasn’t sure if that would be an issue, I asked her and she said it was totally fine and really loves it. I’ve lost count of how many times it’s died but luckily for all of us it comes right back to life :)

I got this for my (16 yr old) sister. It’s really small. I know you’re looking at the photos and thinking it can’t be that small, it is. I don’t think it’s worth full price. I got it for $14 and still think that’s too high. Maybe $10 or $9 is fair. There are only 2 games you can play and the buttons are as expected, small. I wouldn’t get it for a child under the age of 13 who has a tablet or phone. They’ll probably get bored with it quickly. Not much you can do with it besides feeding it, the 2 games and cleaning up after it. My sister called it a glorified clock. She likes it though because she got to experience having a tamagotchi. Maybe it would make a great gift if you’re adding it to a gift basket or something. (And it was $6.) But if you have the money to spend or just want to know what it’s like to own a TINY tamagotchi then this is perfect for you. I’m curious to see how long the battery will last. I’ll update when it stops working. *****Update***** About a month and a half ago the battery died. Before this my sister said the little thing on the tamagotchi disappeared, I guess it grew up, but after that she had trouble resting it and then it died. Like I said before great gift if you want to experience owning a tamagotchi, but the price could be lower.

I bought 2 for my sister we loved it but I would have to wake up and clean it’s poop. It’s poops every minute and the best thing about it is that battery’s never run out until next 3 months, good quality and cute.

I am so in love with my hello kitty tamagotchi I ordered the red one as soon as I seen the cute little white hello kitty one, it has a bow and looks like her head. Its so much fun to keep feeding it and checking on it. I had one in the 90s and its the same fun feeling!! I highly recommend a tamagotchi if you love to take care of something.

Parfait pour un petit cadeau, ma femme a vraiment beaucoup aimé. Je retire une étoile parce que c'est vraiment un minuscule Tamagotchi, parmi les plus petits qui existent, cela peut décevoir quand on le reçoit. Mais il fait son petit effet, très mignon. Je recommande pour un cadeau sympathique
