DREO Demineralization Cartridge 3-Pack for Humidifiers, Compatible with Dreo Humidifiers HM311/311S/524/524S, Prevent Mineral Build-up, Filter Hard Water, Eliminate White Dust

I purchase a Dreo humidifier and I bought these demineralization cartridges to use along with it. The Dreo is great - so easy and efficient, but when you add these to it, it becomes a beast. They work! I am on 300+ hrs and these 100% prolong the cleaning and the life of the unit. I also purchased the water filter ones so that I can alternate. Definitely one of my best purchases - my machine is not slimy or yellow. No gunk. No scaling. Easy to replace - you push it in, that is all. I want the mist in my home to be healthy and I feel much better about it with one of these in my machine. They are definitely worth purchasing and I will keep them stocked.

Works well to use with hard water sources. I still noticed white dust, however. Easy to install with no tools. Filters last about a month. Not too costly.

I have used humidifiers for years and was always frustrated with the Fine white stuff that I found everywhere. I decided that I would buy the cartridges that are supposed to eliminate that white stuff. It works perfectly!

WARNING! DO NOT BUY THESE. For whatever reason, they breakdown after a few uses and the granules inside of them get stuck into the stopper, leaving it open, which causes the reservoir to overflow. It has flooded and damaged my furniture and my flooring twice. Since I bought the three pack, I decided that maybe just one of them was bad and installed the new one. That one lasted only one week before it caused the same problem. Inside of the reservoir once I remove this filter, you can see the pink granules that are all over and falling out out of the cartridge. These get stuck in the stopper. I am going to write to the manufacturer and demand a refund for this and for the humidifier. They are a pretty good company as far as replacement goes. But so far the quality control seems to be not that great as I also own one of their smart fans that has a screen that died shortly after use. They sent a replacement fan, but the other fan still works, I just use it with voice command and the app instead of the actual screen.

I have two DREO humidifiers and use this cartridge in both of them. It keeps the white stuff down to a minimum. Recommend it to all.

Die Dreo Entmineralisierungskartuschen im 3er-Pack erfüllen ihren Zweck absolut zuverlässig. Seit ich sie in meinem Luftbefeuchter verwende, hat sich das Problem mit weißem Staub deutlich reduziert. Gerade bei hartem Wasser merkt man den Unterschied schnell. Die Kartuschen lassen sich unkompliziert einsetzen und passen perfekt in die kompatiblen Dreo-Modelle. Es tropft nichts, alles sitzt fest und funktioniert sofort ohne zusätzliche Einstellungen. Auch in Bezug auf Mineralablagerungen im Gerät selbst habe ich eine Verbesserung festgestellt. Der Luftbefeuchter bleibt sauberer und wirkt insgesamt wartungsärmer. Das 3er-Pack ist praktisch, da man direkt Ersatz auf Vorrat hat. Fazit: Sehr sinnvolle Ergänzung für Dreo Luftbefeuchter, besonders bei hartem Wasser. Reduziert weißen Staub deutlich und sorgt für saubere Befeuchtung. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Great filters making a visible change to using the humidifier! They remove the need to clean the device pretty much daily, which is an absolute relief! I’m still on the first one but I’m glad tracking the filter’s longevity in the app is a great convenience!

This review is for the filters/cartridges only, not the humidifier. I’ve been searching for an affordable humidifier that could reduce calcium residue without costing a fortune. When I learned these filters were compatible with my Dreo HM311, I decided to try them. Installation was simple - just remove the original filter and pop this one in. It works: I no longer get that fine white dust all over my surfaces. I’m very happy with this purchase and will definitely buy again.
