I liked that you can cook in the microwave then put it in the dishwasher to clean but I had long bacon strips so it stuck out a little but cooked my bacon 🥓 😋 really well!

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bottom tray does not have deep enough grooves to keep the bacon out of the grease. Other than that it works very well.

I purchased this item because I remember having a similar item many years ago when I was young. I do like bacon, but sometimes dealing with the mess that you can make in a frying pan is annoying. With this item I can cook a large amount of bacon in a short amount of time with minimal mess.

Each tray alone cooks bacon fine. When I tried to double stack it the bacon on top was perfect and the bacon on bottom was undercooked. The bottom bacon needed another minute.

I tried it out tonight for the first time and ended up making the entire package of bacon. It came out perfectly. I’m still experimenting on the time frame, but I love the fact that it cooks so neatly, and all the grease is contained under the lid. It seems very sturdy and well-made,and great value for the price. It’s an excellent addition to my carnivore arsenal!

The picture in the Amazon sales blurb shows 8 pieces of bacon resting on the microwave tray, which is a blatant lie. It can comfortably hold 4 and you may have to tuck the ends under the cover. That said, it did cook 4 pieces in 5 minutes to a nice crispness.

I liked the ease of use and the ease of cleaning up.
