Cannot recommend enough! We’re on our second xspec and love them so much. (We have the bigger one but wanted to try wheels!)They work just as well as their competitors for maintaining temperature over days - we’ve seen ice retention up to 3 full days. They’re not too heavy but I do appreciate the rolling option. The wheels on this are super high quality and not the plastic ones that scuff and get stuck. The rolling one is obviously smaller than its stationary counterparts, but we’re able to keep enough food for two for a week - or you could do about 3.5 cases of your beverage.

As I searched for a rolling cooler and ran into this one and took the chance.. What a great buy, at the end of the day for these types of coolers you are always going to spend a few hundred bucks on them.Holds the ice as good as the competition and seems very durable.The wheels have a washer and bolt which I beleive i’ll need to keep an eye on it once in a while as they can twist off. But if it does twist off and get lost, local hardware store will have plenty to replace.The chain that holds the plug is great as I’m constantly replacing my YETI plug as it seems to always get misplaced.Handles are great as well, as good as a YETIBottle opener on corners is a nice touch so i dont have to drill one in like the competition.100% recommend it, you can’t go wrong.

Very heavy cooler. I can’t really decide if it was worth the high price tag though. To be fair, the heat of Florida won’t keep ice in any cooler very long. This will work better north of the Mason Dickson for sure. Mine gets a vapor lock and I have to use something like a butter knife to get a corner of the cooler to release so I can open it.

Great cooler for a great price. Every time I’ve used it, I’ve had ice a few days later. The large wheels make it so easy to move around. Highly recommended!

Super Sturdy, well built like a TANK, and has excellent insulation, BUT BUT BUT, the dang thing is Soooo heavy that we end up choosing one of our other coolers for trips. I waited too long to return it too, otherwise this expensive cooler just sits in our basement. I’ll probably sell it locally to some strong fisherman, LOL.

I was hoping for the best but once the cooler arrived, I put 14lbs of ice and within 6 hours, 50 percent of the ice melted. So, I figured, lets get another 14lbs since it is pre-chilled… nope!!! 2nd 14 lbs of ice melted in 6 hours inside a home with AC (controlled climate), so I requested a return and refund.

As long as you pre chill ( throw a sacrifice bag of ice in there with your goods ) two 7lbs bags of ice lasted for two days in Laughlin 115 degree heat. Great ice chest

This thing is a beast-solid wheels, handles and seals. Don’t get it if you need something light.
