so far, so good.
I have used one so far and it works quite well.

Okay device
They are okay, 2 of the modules have horrible jitter, would have sent them back but I got some warning about not getting a refund if they were opened. So I ended up keeping them and using them for some other project where I can work around the jitter.

Responsive modules
These joysticks seem to be pretty good considering the price. Being analog devices, I did need to write a little calibration routine to measure the exact center and boundaries for each joystick, because the values read by the microcontroller are slightly different for each one. But once calibrated, the values don't drift around and do respond accurately to movements.

More Joysticks Than You Can Shake a Stick At
I just got a Raspberry Pi. Don't know much about them... so I'm super excited but I don't know much. So this review is kinda gonna reflect that. But hey... real reviews from real people, right? :-)I'm in the "buy all the little cool accessories I need to have but am not sure I'll ever use" phase. I have some ideas and I believe the joystick will be a great method of navigation for my Pi.Like I said, don't know much about these... but I'm happy with them so far. Have not used them yet, obviously. I will say that they are TINY. But they seem to move smoothly. I can't wait to try them and I'm glad I have six of them, just in case one breaks. Or who knows... maybe I'll end up making some kind of x-box style controller for my Pi implementation. We'll see.Overall, I'm happy with these so far as far as quality of build. Will need to see how they perform. That's down the road.I hope you liked my review. I always try really hard to write reviews are are candid, honest, and helpful for your shopping decisions. No AI here... all the poor writing is mine and mine alone! :-P

Easy Joystick Modules for DIY and Robotics Projects
I recently ordered these 6-pack joystick modules to be used in a custom controller I am building for an RC car project. These joystick modules are an excellent addition to any DIY project due to their versatility and ease of use. Each joystick module comes with 0.1-inch headers clearly labeled, making it easy to connect jumper wires or plug directly into a breadboard for effortless prototyping. Connecting Vcc and Gnd to either a 5V or 3.3V microcontroller power supply is straightforward, and the joysticks provide two analog outputs for X and Y directions. In the default position, the joystick outputs a voltage that is nearly midway of the supplied voltage. I quickly tested the joystick by connecting it to my Arduino board's analog inputs A0 and A1 and performed an analog read. At rest, I received ADC readings of 507 or 508, almost midway of the 1023 maximum. Each axis swings from an ADC reading of 0 to 1023. During my brief testing, I did not notice any jitters or incorrect readings. The joystick is smooth to move in all directions, and the construction feels durable, ensuring long-term use. There is also an additional output for a switch, which can be utilized as a selection switch in various projects. This 6-pack offers great value at under $9, making it a cost-effective solution for any project. Having a few extra joysticks on hand is always beneficial for various robotics or fun DIY endeavors. Highly recommended for anyone looking for versatile and durable joystick modules.
