The Wasp refill is made of 100% genuine deer hair. Similar to British Sheepskin, The hair is a by-product from free roaming outdoor British Deer herds and are protected under British Animal Welfare Laws. Made with the hair securely fixed to a soft leather core running through the middle (No sharp metal bar or plastic like other brands) The connection to the wand toy is via a braided strong cord hook on the front securely fixed. They are well made so last ages. A very good way to burn some of my cats energy as the toy bounds around with the cats following. I tend to buy a couple a types at a time as delivery is charged but worth it. I have to put these toys away after we have played and now every time I walk past of open the cupboard they are kept in, I have 4 of my cats flock to me.
