Very Nice Dimmer
After replacing my bedroom LED ceiling lights with CREE high-hats, I experienced LED ghosting. So I replaced my dimmer switch with this Lutron dimmer and 'bam' it fixed my problem. I've used Lutron dimmers before in my whole home and they are the best. Easy to install if you are a little handy. Lots of tutorials on Youtube. It took me 15-20 min to install. I am very meticulous about everything being staright and aligned so I took my time. Make sure to use the ground wire and you probably want to disconnect your circuit breaker to avoid being shocked. I didn't cause I'm a pro and extremely careful, but just as a precaution you probably should. Anyway, very high end quality dimmer. Would not buy anything else. Good Luck!

Great product
Came quickly except I ordered it with the plate and that won’t come for a couple weeks so I’m trying to figure out how to cancel the plate. I use the existing one I had. It’s easy to install. There’s a video that you can go to and it shows you how to install it very easy and I’m very happy with the way it works

My Led light flashed.
My LEDs dimmable lights flashed at the low setting. I guess this dimmer is not comparable. Otherwise works ok.

Good
I had the same switch for years in my dining room that didn't have the ability to use LEDs. When that old one started having issues, I switched to this one. It took less than 10 minutes to do.

Lutron Support is MAGNIFICENT!
As a retired electrician, I already know a whole lot about dimmer switches and wiring methods. I am therefore aware that advancing technology (LEDs) and government over-reach (banning incandescent light bulbs) creates incompatibility issues, particularly with older homes utilizing older wiring methods. My task was to install a dimmer switch for an elderly relative in a house with knob and tube wiring and ungrounded switch boxes to dim LED lamps in a bedroom fixture. The switch had to not only work, but also be easy to adjust for arthritic fingers. MOST MODERN DIMMER SWITCHES WILL NOT WORK UNDER ALL OF THE ABOVE CIRCUMSTANCES.So my first move was to contact Lutron customer service to find out which of their products would work under my given circumstances.Lutron's very nice response was a complete detail of their three dimmer models that would accommodate knob and tube wiring with an ungrounded box to dim LED lamps. They detailed the differences with their three models with the features and advantages of each. They not only detailed how to install the devices; they even when so far as to detail the electric code criteria and exceptions that allowed this installation.Needless to say, this is one of the recommended models that I chose. The install was very easy and works perfectly. Everybody is happy!THANK YOU, LUTRON!

Solid Dimmer-the Fins on the Sides Come Off
This is a quality on/off light dimmer switch. No hum and the light will dim very low. Works great with even light across up to 4 dimmable LED bulbs. If your light has 5 or 6 bulbs, one or two bulbs will be a bit brighter than the rest. But it will still work.Someone mentioned in a review that you can't have two of these switches next to each other because of the metal fins on the side crowding the space not allowing them to fit in a two-hole cover. Not so. They WILL fit. The metal fins are creased so you can easily bend them with pliers and break 3 of them on one side or all 6 on both sides off clean.

Great dimmer for LED bulbs
This dimmer works great with dimmable LEDs. I installed it in our dining room for use with some LE® 9.5W Dimmable E26 LED Bulbs (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QLJHFMA?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_134) and it works better than I had anticipated. I have heard from many others that LEDs will not dim as low as incandescent bulbs, but with this combination the bulbs will dim all the way down to just a slight spark of light. The dimmer has a range adjustment switch on the side so that you can adjust how low the lights will dim with the slide all the way down, which is nice so you can set it so that the bulbs put out the minimum required light when the slider is all the way down, and they won't go completely off without actually turning off the flip switch below the slider. Installation was easy, the instructions included are clearly written and anyone that has ever done even the least little bit of light switch installing will be able to install this. Make sure to check what type of switch box you have currently installed, because if yours are like mine, they are the all-in-one switches meaning that the electrical box is part of the switch, so when you replace them with ones like this one, you will need an Old Work Electrical Box (http://www.amazon.com/Lamson-Home-Products-B114R-UPC-Work/dp/B000GATNU2/ref=pd_sim_60_71?ie=UTF8&refRID=1MVJ1BQQX2D8FGV9JPHQ) in whatever size you have (Single, Double, Triple, etc Gang). Also, since this is a dimmer, it has a box on the back of the switch that sticks out quite a bit. You can make it work with a regular depth box, but a over sized depth box (http://www.amazon.com/Carlon-BH234R-Outlet-8-Inch-Length/dp/B0007N738M/ref=pd_sim_328_9?ie=UTF8&refRID=18XDRESVRRPRN9F2V32W) is recommended, especially if you have multiple runs coming in and out of the box. If you have the shallow boxes though, you will not be able to install this without changing the box. Overall I am very pleased with this dimmer, as well is my wife, and we all know that if the wife is happy everyone is happy.
