I had this unit hooked up and before they mounted it back into the dash, it was checked to make certain that everything was hooked up and working correctly. It did great for 45 seconds and then the screen went completely black and came back on with only vertical, multicolor lines, like a cell phone that gets dropped without a case and lands on the screen.I immediately unhooked it and filed my return with Amazon, which is always easy and simple, and sent it back the next morning. I have been a pioneer fan for years with a lot of experience with pioneer DJ headphones and all sorts of their DJ equipment but I will never buy another pioneer product again in my life and every pioneer if I still own any is getting burned immediately and throwing the ashes in the garbage.It was nothing but a waste of time and money but at least I got my credit back with Amazon and plan on purchasing another one but obviously a very different brand! Buyer beware!!!!!

I purchased a refurbished double din 1770nex. Within a week it started acting up. I wasn't going to contact the seller because I never have luck l. I never get helped. Ups driver stole my lug nuts I was having delivered n no one is helping so I wasn't going to even try. But I did n im glad. I only had to talk to one person for the whole return , emails n getting it back. Told him what it was doing n he said send it back n we'll see. I did n the day after they got it he called me told me we see the problem n swap you another one. Received it fast like 3 days n its been working perfectly. Love this seller. N I baught the Siriusxm antenna. Love it. Highly recommend

I just wish I had a DVD player with this

I put this in my 2007 Dodge ram. Back up cameras were not in every car back then like they are now. I loved that feature the best. I had to buy the camera separately and it mounted on top of the license plate. It worked perfectly after I wired it to the reverse wire from the tow plug. I'd recommend getting some help with the wiring because you have to run wires all the way to behind the dash. The second picture was before I aimed the camera properly. After I did the lines were perfect and it showed my towing ball and worked great for backing up to a trailer as well as fitting the truck into a tight spot.

We have this same exact deck in 5 other vehicles. This one seems to have a very slow response time when selecting one of the buttons on the side, like home or volume or even the power button. Even if we click on an app. Also, it will randomly cut out and turn off. We put this in another vehicle. Did the same thing. Put it in another. Did the same thing. We even replaced the entire wiring to the car. And to the deck. Same thing. It’s defective and so many time of taking it out and putting it back in now the clips from the trim are coming loose. I guess we have to live with it. Such a bummer. It’s expensive and clearly it’s defective. We couldn’t even get it swapped out.
