La historia me ha gustado bastante, lo que no me ha gustado nada es como me ha llegado el libro. Ya no puedo ni actuar sorprendida de la forma en la que lo envían los libros. No voy a puntuar bajo el libro por la ineptitud de Amazon.

Archer Harrison, the quintessential leading alpha who I challenge any reader not to fall for, root for and fall for a few times more. His strength and passion truly leaped through the pages and he was a wonderful opposite for Serenity. Now let's talk about this leading lady who wore her heart on her sleeve. When she broke having discovered the love of her life was dating her friend, I broke with her. When she was falling in love with Archer, I was there with her. (I mean... the way Catharina describes him physically...) Serenity is selfless in every way particularly in her courage to move on as she thought it was the right thing to do for Archer made me applaud and shout at her in equal measure! This is a wonderful standalone to re-read many times over.I was however disappointed with a few things that were not captured in the book. I personally felt the last five chapters were quite rushed in comparison to the build up between Archer and Serenity at the start. I found myself wanting more dialogue between Archer and Tyra, particularly where it dawned on her that his heart now lies with Serenity. On that, I also would have loved a confrontation of sorts between Ezra and Archer - one of the overprotective big brother; the other the best friend who has fallen hard. That being all said, these were not big deal breakers that affected the joy of another win that Catharina has written.

The LOVE ❤️ between Archer & Serenity was so perfectly written! Archer has been closed off emotionally since the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend. Serenity just found her out her best friend, Theo, who she’s in love with had started dating her other best friend and is devastated. Serenity and Archer have grown up together since Archer is friends with Elijah, Serenity’s brother. But since the night she showed up on tears over Theo, they both seek to be looking at each other differently. They arranged to be with each other to help one another move past their precious loves…but it soon becomes more than that, they soon realize they are falling in love. If you’re not a fan of the third act breakup, then you won’t like this book. And yes it’s hard to read and comes with tears 😭 but the way they come back and are reunited is so beautiful and healing! I just loved it and I loved how strong Serenity was through this book!
