And excellent helper for making homemade bread recipes.
I got this thing this weekend, and have already used it to bake several loaves of bread. It does a really good job of kneeding and rising the dough. I let it need and rise, then let it rest for about five minutes and then set up a second, shorter kneed and rise and then put the dough in the pan for a third rise. The bread came out with excellent crumb and very tasty. So far, I am very happy with this machine.

Use this for dough
This is my second one.First was bear brand and bigger in size. After 2 years, ball bearings broke and I cd not get replacement of same pot. They do not sell same exact model anymore and both brands are related or joydeem is probably parent brand. Works well for me. I went with smaller size per my needs. I use it only for Dough. Also this brand has plastic knob ans valve on the blade top (like a screw) to keep it tight fixed which is annoying, hard to put it back after wash for next use, very easy to loose. Older model did not have any thing and my blade never moved. It was much easy to wash as well. Also this model is almost same price as previous one even if size is smaller. Previous was better quality.I would still buy it again than 300+ heavy sets

Great mixer for bread dough!
I don’t know how the Joydeem Dough Mixer compares to other, more expensive dough mixers, but I was very pleased with its performance and price. The instructions were a bit vague and left me with a few unanswered questions, but I managed to figure things out and have worked out a procedure that works for my sourdough recipes. I would recommend this mixer. Addendum: About 6 months after purchase and still under warranty, the motor began to squeal. I contacted Panda Brands via email, and included a video of the mixer while working and told them what I had done and discovered. After a bit of back and forth emailing, they diagnosed the problem and are sending me a new base. I am pleased with their customer service, and hope that the new base will last longer. The Joydeem is a great mixer for the price, but if it fails again within 6 months I will be looking for a different mixer.

Judgment Still Out
No manual was included; found one on the website and downloaded. I guess they thought pushing of buttons were self-explanatory, but not so; the manual was indeed necessary, especially if you're a sourdough maker. It does appear to be made well. However, during the fermenting, you need to take out the mixing hook. This is an area of concern for me, maybe not others. But is is attached with a screw. Yes, it does have a thumb tab, but that screw is easily mislaid in the midst of things. I would think a different method could have been implicated so that the hook be easily removed and replaced. There is a rubber "O" ring that sits under the screw as well, which, yes, comes out too, and easily mislaid. For now, I'm not especially pleased with the unit, but maybe once I figure out how best to use for sourdough, I might come around. I have played with the settings (after reading the "limited" downloaded manual) and think I might be able to make use without thinking I've wasted money. The irony is, I was looking for a way to more consistently proof my sourdough and thought this would be a good thing. At any rate, other than the screw, "O" ring, and lack of a manual, the unit itself appears to be well made. Also, it did not save me any time or cleanup. I think the original way of doing it all my hand is still the quickest and least amount of work.

Dough kneading machine.
I used it today to make cross buns and thw dough was mixed and kneaded well. I am happy that thw blade has a pin to secure it. Had to throw out the last dough kneading machine because the blade was worn out before the year's use. This one is much better. I Ike it.
