UPDATE (May 2017): Over a year later and I still love this necklace. I wear it multiple times each week and still get complements. The rose gold color has faded over time, making the wishbone look more like a pale yellow gold. Photo with the white backgound is after 14 months of frequent wear compared to new in the photo with the black background. I love it and it was worth every penny!ORIGINAL POST (Dec 2015): The chain has held up nicely to tugging children. I bought as a gift for my sister but found a different necklace and decided to keep this for myself. I'm so happy I did. This is a beautiful necklace - just the right balance of size and weight. The wishbone is about the size of a quarter and the color is a subtle rose gold. You could easily wear it with other yellow gold jewelry and it would look great. It is simple without being plain and will likely be an everyday necklace for me.Other reviewers commented that the chain seems too thin or cheap, noting concerns it might break. While the chain is delicate, it has stood up to the test of my 9 month old's tugging. The delicate appearance is part of the appeal, when contrasted against the slightly heavier charm.Bonus: There doesn't seem to be a front and back to the charm. The only marking is on the inside of the "bone" and it is so small I had to really look hard to find it. This is a plus for me as it's one less thing to worry about when getting ready.

For the price you can't beat this necklace. I am used to something a little weightier and only wear sterling which this is supposed to be, but it feels hollow and less substantial than my other sterling necklaces. For the money I am not complaining . It is not as skimpy as the Dogeared version and has more substance than that one but no heft. Feels hollow on the inside and is stamped "China" in a discreet place inside one shank of the wishbone..wished it was Italy or Mexico as the snob in me wasn't crazy about that, but it is very lovely and shiny and hangs well on the chain. It wasn't tangled at all - in fact I really like the chain and though I usually wear a 16" as longer chains tend to look sloppy on me, in this case I think the 18" drop shows off the wishbone best and looks so classy on. Also the chain appears to be fairly well made, not as flimsy as I expected in reading the reviews. It is everything I like in a necklace - minimal but eyecatching and classy and certainly looks like it cost more. Good gift for a girl or woman of any age, and I think it would make a lovely bridesmaid or holiday gift! You can always change out the chain to customize the length, and I will even try to pair it with a skinny leather cord, changing it up a little more. It looks absolutely lovely the way it drapes when worn. Uncommonly good for the price.

For $15, it is a great deal. The pendant is shiny, but not fake looking. The chain is light and very feminine. The wishbone itself though, is pretty big and thick. I would not recommend this for a petite girl as the pendant might be a bit overwhelming. It does, however, make a hollow sound, and since it's pretty light, I assume it is hollow. Overall it's definitely a great everyday accessory, and at $15, definitely worth it!

I've been looking for a good, everyday necklace that I can just leave on all the time and I think this is it.The chain is way too short, but that's nothing a few inch long extender can't fix.The actual pendant is small without being too small, and a good weight ‐ I'm not worried about it bending or snapping, and it's heavy enough to pull down properly on the chain when worn.I think if the pendant were bigger, it'd be too obvious & gawdy.Overall, on first day wearing it, so far so goodUPDATE 3 YEARS LATER: After non-stop daily wear for almost 3 years, it's still shiny silver, sturdy, scratch-free, and subtly pretty as ever. I've gone through maybe 4 different chains that broke over the years but the pendant is still looking like I just bought it yesterday. It looks a bit gold in my photo lightening but in real life it's definitely all silver colored without a hint of yellow.

The Rose Gold wishbone is perfect for my skin tone and has kept its color perfectly. The chain it comes with is very flimsy and difficult to securely clasp with my arthritic hands and fingers. The clasp is tiny! Overall though I love this necklace.

This has been my favorite and go to necklace for almost 14 years. Worn probably 80% of days, in all kinds of conditions. This necklace still looks new and gets questions monthly. I will wear it until it falls apart and get another. At the rate I'm going, I may get 1 more in my lifetime.

The item came in a nice navy box and the actual wishbone pendant is nice. I bought this on a whim for my adult daughter as she and her dad pulled the Thanksgiving turkey wishbone--a happy memory.Dislike: The chain is too thin and arrived entangled in the box, and I believe we have yet to get it undone. I guess we need to break out the needles to untangle this. So I have had to spring the extra 11 bucks for a replacement chain. Please factor that into your cost and if you wish to gift this to someone.Update: the pendant looks nice and it has held up well with the new chain. I still believe the chain could be a little thicker (charge a little more if needed) but I do like the product.

Bought as a gift and well liked but the chain is rather flimsy with a tiny, hard to operate clasp.

This necklace is great. The chain is long enough and the pendant is a nice size. It is a bit thicker than I thought it would be but overall very happy
