This purchase was easily the best hundred or so dollars I have ever spent, easy to use and clean. Great time saver with excellent results.

Great tool/time saver
Amazing tool. I'm a contractor with 25 years experience and I can say this is a great tool. Please note, you must use it correctly. I use mesh seams for flats so this is used for paper in the corners. The corner roller is perfect. This cut the time down significantly. Note that there is no cut off tool at the end, you must use a 3" knife or what ever. The compromise is you get the 45 degree wheel for corners which I'd prefer. If your in saving time and getting a great job each time, this is for you. Highly reccomend.

A time saver
I don't do much taping, but am glad I bought it. Saved me a ton of time.It is a little big for me compare to the other one I purchased. So when I put mud in, it was heavy and bulky. My left arm which held the banjo got tired so fast. The interchangeable roller is a bonus, but a bit hard to change it back and forth.Overall I had a good experience with it.

Amazing tool for footage work.
I am a carpenter by trade. I don't use my finishing tools too often, I step in when the finishers are falling behind. This banjo is amazing. It's more like a handheld bazooka. The only thing that slows you down is its volume for mud. The only drawback is it doesn't have a cutter. Not a big deal for footage work. But if you're fire taping and need small pieces a cutter option would be nice. I plan on engineering my own. The free carpenter pencil that came in a box with a nice touch.

Cheap not worth the money
So set aside that one of the pieces of the hinge was missing when I took it out of the box, I figured it would not interfere with its function and it did not.... Altho the door fell off almost every time I opened it.. I watched u tube videos on how to use and it looks easy enough... not so much... this thing is a pain in the butt to use...I used 2 kinds of paper tape one tore all the time and would not constantly feed without tearing and the other I could not get to tear... so maybe u could find the perfect tape and not have that issue but it is still very cheaply made and messy as crap to use I just decided to finish my job by hand way less mess and frustration

works great but very fragile
I'm a contractor (not a drywall contractor) and bought this banjo for a large master suite addition. I only used it a couple of times and happened to drop it off a 5 gallon bucket - so less than 2 feet - and the roller attachment broke off. The machine is not really functional without it. Sent and email to the company with no response. The machine works well, especially the corner wheel for corners, but its very fragile. Buy the metal ones for the same money.

Ok
Hinges broke early on. I took the front attachment off and added a 2.5 inch knife with a hose clamp. Now I can tear the tape with ease. Otherwise its not a bad banjo. Sometimes the tape roll will fall off when its almost gone.
