Very small, but it works on my induction stove!
My Whirlpool induction stove has a “griddle zone” of two burners. 17” would cover both burners, but the cooking area of this griddle is only 14” long. The stated measurement of 17” long included the handles, which I didn’t notice. However, the stove does not reject it for being too small (they can do that), even though each burner extends past the griddle by about a half inch. We were able to heat two small tortillas at once. Pancakes for a large group will be difficult. It does heat up well and clean well. I like the little rubber feet, and they didn’t melt, thank goodness.

Simple and Solid!
This griddle is fantastic - so many things to love about it - such as:1. It is very sturdy - feels substantial and is made with quality.2. It works with any kind of stove including an induction cooktop.3. It cooks EVENLY and distributes heat that way too, so you can make food that it cooked perfectly4. SO EASY! If you cook like you would normally on a BBQ, you already know how to use it!5. Non stick so it's super easy to clean up6. Not super thick or giant so it fits in the storage drawer under the stove or in a cupboard etc very nicely.7. 2 options for surfaces - so you can cook on the "grill marks" side or the flat side8. Fits a regular stove top just fineI could go on but I think you get the hint. If you are in the market for one of these, this is the one to get - it's excellent in every way. AND...it's a good price considering the quality too. Would recommend!

Worst on induction
This is, without question, the worst piece of cooking erquipment I have ever used on an induction burner, or maybe even any burner.I should maybe preface this by saying that I have a Bosch, no griddle hubs. However I have used all kinds of pots and pans on it and almost without exception, the heat distribution makes it possible to use, if it is induction compatible at all. Not so with this griddle. I would say that it only heated up right over the magnet, but that is not exactly true, the handles got hot as well. The pictures are of my attempt to cook eggs. I even turned it up to double what I usually cook eggs on, and it just heated in the center. If you look at it closely you will see the pat of butter, still unmelted after 5 minutes, at a heat high enough to grill a steak. You can also see the eggs running down the drainage? channel on the grill portion. What you can not see, and I did not see, until I picked it up, was the egg all over my stove top.I offered it to my husband, telling him that he could now make pancakes on the grill. Funny, he is not interested. I am not quite sure what to do with this, but absolutely positive I will never use it again.

Induction
We ordered this to use with our new induction cooktop (which has not arrived yet)I like that the bottom has four tiny silicone “feet” to keep from scratching the cooktop surface. The grill size is pretty small. Each half is smaller than a standard 8”x11” sheet of paper. This is perfect for cooking up one grilled cheese (or two if you want grill marks on one)Also will be nice for quick sear of meats.

Discoloration and scorching with one use making grilled cheese of all things. Bummed
Why did you pick this product vs others?Size is a perfect fit for my inducted cooktop. This is after first use. Giving two stars on that, unless something changes I’m very disappointed I can’t believe this happened.Seems like there is some kind of coating on it.

A bit tiny for grilling.
I found that grease splattered everywhere when grilling. Be aware this is a very small grill, might better use a large pan

Love it
Does what it needs to do. One pan takes two burners and you can set the two sides to different temps and cook multiple things
