I LOVE THIS THING!!!! I've had it for a few months now (2-3months) and its great. I've only had to charge it once, and it was at like 95%. We dremel our dogs nails once a week and its fine. It's not as quiet as you'd think but it's not loud either. Our dog isn't scared of the noise so idk. We have a doberman who is HUGE. He's 95lbs and his nails are jet black which is why we dremel instead of clip. This thing is a BEAST for big nails. It NEVER gets stopped up. I can push on the nail a bit while it's going which would usually jam up our last dremel and this one has never gotten stopped up from that at all. The bit is great and this thing grinds the nail down pretty quick which makes the whole thing a better experience for all of us because our dog doesn't like it. The light is great too. I do use the guard because it helps me stay on the nail, but what I did was cut a bigger hole in the guard because my dog's nails are a tad too big for it. Works great. Our nail trimming time went from 30min-1hr (constant breaks and jams with our last dremel thing) to like 10mins max because this thing never gets stuck and is super fast.

I have 4 dogs, and all of them have mostly black nails so seeing the quick inside the nails is pretty much impossible. Because of this, I'm really reluctant to just go at the nails with a trimmer since it would be really easy to cut into the quick and nobody wants to hurt their fur babies like that. That's where this comes in - I've tried some other trimmers of the same style but they were loud, and that sound didn't translate into performance. My dogs hated to see that thing come out and I eventually just gave up on trying to use it. I saw the page for this and decided to give it a shot because it's supposed to be really quiet. When I received it, the battery was fully charged and even using it on speed 4 or 5 (it has 6 total), across all of my dogs, it's only down to 90% charge. I seriously haven't charged this thing in a month! Not the fault of the trimmer at all, but the LED's aren't as helpful for me none of my dogs have light colored nails, but it does help light up the general paw area. Someone who has dogs with lighter nails would benefit a lot more. It does include a little plastic nail guard, which can be removed and rotated which came in really handy since I could switch hands or trimmer orientation as needed instead of having to fumble around with a fixed guard. The guard also keeps a lot of the "nail dust" under control which makes cleaning up really easy. Best part about this whole thing is that my dogs will now actually let me trim their nails and because of the diamond grinding wheel, it's way faster than anything I've used before which means less time the doggos have to sit there getting a pedicure they don't want. Overall, I'm really glad I took a chance on this trimmer.

The Casufy does not work nearly as well as the specialized Dremel for pets, but it is quieter and easier to use.

This is what I am talking about!!! This is the nail grinder that you want. I have the 6 speed original Casfuy. It worked great, but today when I went to use it, it had no charge. I put it away fully charged. So battery wasn't holding the charge. I began to charge it again, but decided to order a new one just in case. I have two big dogs with bear nails and the old nail grinder could never complete both dogs in one sitting. So I ordered this new more powerful unit with more battery capacity. It arrived Same-Day, 4 hours after I ordered it. Sweet!!! It came FULLY charged ready to go!!! It has a digital display that indicated 100%. I got both dogs done and it had plenty of power to grind the bear claws. When I was done, the digital display says 95% power left. That is what i am talking about!!! It has LED lights and a power wheel with variable power. Nice!!! And it is quiet and has very smooth operation. My 150lb dog doesn't not like her nails done and this nail grinder is quiet and smooth enough to keep her fighting to a minimal. Grinder feels good in your hands. Absolutely no complaints! In fact, it worked much better than I was expecting. And note that I own the original 6-speed grinder that worked great until issue with rechargeable battery. So in comparison, this new unit is a great upgrade. Well designed nail grinder! And love the same-day delivery by Amazon. And having it fully charged is a huge plus.

This is a great nail trimmer for my german shepherd. Its very easy and safe to use. Its large and very sturdy so it files the nails down quickly and efficiently. My dog has zero issue with me doing her nails now. Its not loud at all. Cleaning it is a breeze. Overall its very pet friendly

This product is the best dog nail grinder I've ever used! The diamond head drum, combined with a powerful motor, ground my German shepherd's nails quickly and didn't bog down like all nail grinders I've used in the past. The noise was quiet enough that it didn't seem to bother her much and she began to relax after just the first paw. And the most remarkable aspect of this product was that I had used less than half of the nail grinder's battery life, which is a rechargeable, built in battery. The AA battery operated grinders I've used in the past, bogged down terribly anytime any pressure was applied, which made it difficult to grind large dogs' nails, and made it impossible to finish quickly. This product is very efficient at getting the job done at an affordable price! I will recommend this product to all my friends who have dogs!

Works great! My dog is EXTRA anxious and she didn't "love" it, but she handled it way better than clippers! I love having the lights, especially for her dark nails. And all I had to do was hit the button once to turn the grinder on and once again to shut it off. It was nice not having to keep pressing on a button to keep it going. It's not silent, but it's pretty darn quiet, even when it's grinding. I would recommend holding the nail as well as the foot to keep it from vibrating too much. I tried it out first on my own thumbnail and it felt slightly uncomfortable at times, but never painful.

I received my trimmer today and was disappointed that it was missing the USB-C cable that is supposed to be included for charging. I have plenty of C cables because my phone uses them, so for that reason, I am not sending it back. It works great, is super quiet. The dust guard doesn't stay on very well and if your dog fidgets any, it will knock it off. I love the feel of it. It's the perfect size for your hand, which is suitable for left or right. It's easy to maneuver and a plus is having the controls on the top near your fingers. You don't have to lie it down to adjust speed or on/off. The lights are bright. I don't know why all trimmers don't come with them? I love it! I'm probably being to critical, but I didn't get everything I paid for. If I had, this little jewel would have gotten a 5 star rating. Don't be afraid to buy it. It's a great tool and it makes trimming my dog's nails a lot easier.

Still noisy to pets. Not a solution in my opinion and experience with pets

Would recommend these if like me you have a small dog who hates having his nails cut. My chihuahua will not sit still for clippers but these were a breeze and work so well. I was sceptical at how much they would actually take off as other bigger brands had poor reviews but these are a brilliant alternative to nail clippers and keeping on top of nails will now be much easier for me and pup. The lowest speed was enough for us so I can see it working well for bigger dogs too. Easy to handle, not too big or heavy, surprisingly quiet and they feel good quality.

Krallenpflege ist bei uns leider ein schwieriges Thema. Meine Hündin hat schlechte Erfahrungen mit dem Krallenschneiden beim Tierarzt gemacht und entwickelte anschließend große Angst vor der Krallenschere. Mein altes Schleifgerät mochte sie allerdings auch nicht, da das dauerhaft eingeschaltete Licht sie verunsicherte. Bei diesem Modell gefällt mir deshalb besonders gut, dass sich die LED-Beleuchtung separat ein- und ausschalten lässt. So kann ich das Gerät viel besser an meinen Hund anpassen. Das Schleifgerät liegt angenehm in der Hand, wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet und bietet sechs Geschwindigkeitsstufen, sodass man sich langsam steigern kann. Die Lautstärke ist je nach Stufe natürlich hörbar und auf den höheren Einstellungen deutlich präsenter. Der Motor klingt eher hochfrequent als dumpf. Gerade bei sensiblen oder ängstlichen Hunden würde ich deshalb unbedingt mit der niedrigsten Stufe beginnen und das Training in kleinen Schritten aufbauen. Bei uns hat dieser Aufbau tatsächlich rund zwei Monate gedauert. Fast täglich haben wir etwa fünf Minuten – manchmal auch zweimal fünf Minuten – geübt, bis meine Hündin schließlich die höchste Stufe akzeptiert hat. Heute können wir ihre Vorderpfoten deutlich entspannter schleifen als früher mit der Krallenschere. Die Hinterpfoten mussten wir übrigens komplett separat trainieren – jede Pfote war für sie ein eigener Lernschritt. Ein wichtiger Tipp: Niemals zu lange an einer einzelnen Kralle schleifen. Durch die Reibung entsteht Wärme, die unangenehm werden kann. Ich arbeite deshalb immer nur etwa 2–3 Sekunden pro Kralle und mache lieber mehrere kurze Durchgänge. Das ist für den Hund wesentlich angenehmer. Auch die Akkulaufzeit überzeugt mich absolut. Nach rund zwei Monaten nahezu täglicher Nutzung lag der Akkustand immer noch bei etwa 89 %. Das ist wirklich beeindruckend und erspart häufiges Nachladen. Noch ein Hinweis zu den Ersatzteilen: Entgegen mancher Bewertungen gibt es passende Schleifköpfe für dieses Gerät durchaus bei Amazon zu kaufen. Man sollte nur nicht unbedingt den automatisch vorgeschlagenen Empfehlungen vertrauen, sondern gezielt nach den passenden Ersatzköpfen suchen. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Krallenschleifer sehr zufrieden. Er ersetzt zwar kein geduldiges Training, macht die Krallenpflege aber deutlich stressfreier. Wer bereit ist, seinem Hund die Zeit zum Gewöhnen zu geben, erhält hier ein hochwertiges und zuverlässiges Gerät, das ich guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen kann.
