Spent almost 1/2 day working on this Sthil 026 Chainsaw. The new Carb was as advertised and was a perfect match to replace the WT 194 carb.Where the issues came in was installing the gas line/filter. The gas line was twice the overall length of the factory line. but I thought it still might work, and just sit lower in the tank. Finally figured out that the part that connects to the carb was also way too long and the quality of the tube was horrible. After and hour of tracing back full system and thinking it was the carb, it turned out to be a pinched fuel line that collapsed due to the very thin walls. Everytime it drew fuel, it was light drinking a shake with a paper straw.The Airfilter is not as advertised. does not fit the 026. Probably fits the M26. Toss it in the can with the fuel line and fuel filter.Ps.. the spark plug was correct and does seem to work.. but not sure how long it will last.So, if you just want a replacement carb.. it is a good buy and works..

Great deal ! I fixed two saws with one kit. I work on a lot of saws, and I’ll buy this kit again.

Out of box placed on saw. 3 pulls started. Air filter did not fit cover however no tuning really necessary. Runs like a striped a$$ ape. Will re review after prolonged use

Gave new life to my ageing tractor

Had a storm with trees down and could not keep my chainsaw running. Ordered & received the kit in 2 days along with a new chain. Within an hour I had put in the kit & had the chainsaw running like new.

The kit surprised me at how well everything worked, except the air filter choke does not function after the two nuts are tightened. I need a replacement air filter, but cannot find a way to contact seller about this issue. Most folks would have thought the carburetor was at fault, since it was soooo hard to start the engine. Upon close examination and test, I see that the choke which is built into the air filter does not actuate after the air filter nuts are installed. Everything else was great and the engine runs perfect and starts easy with the old air filter installed.But is seems impossible to find a way to contact the seller for a replacement air filter…
