It’s sterling silver. Not 100% silver but it has enough silver in it. It’s mixed with a steel alloy to make it more tough and shiny. It doesn’t turn any skin green unless you’re allergic to it or anything like that. It won’t tarnish or anything. But you know, take care of it and you’ll be ok.

Q: Will it tarnish with everyday wear?

I bought this for my granddaughter last July for her birthday. It is as pretty as it was the day I got it from Amazon! She absolutely loves it.

Good buy if you are looking for petite

Bought this for my niece for her birthday. She loves it. Looks exactly as shown. Somehow I missed the part in the description where it said “petite” but it was still big enough for a 10 year old. If you do not mind the petite size then it’s worth the buy. If purchasing for a teenager it may be too small depending on your taste.

This was a very petite set appropriate for an 11 year old girl. I purchased this for a granddaughter’s birthday. She was delighted as I selected her birthstone. Plan on purchasing another set for my other granddaughter with her birthstone. Very reasonably priced!
