I assume salt is in there since the description doesn't say No Salt. can I get a ingredients list from someone?? thanks!

The ingredients don't list salt, but it states there is 440 mg. of sodium per serving, so I think there is undisclosed salt in the mix.

Yeah. They list this information, “ Authentic 14 Spice Blend - (unlike many others who use only 6-7 spices to keep costs down). Our berbere is hand blended right here in the USA with cayenne pepper, paprika, red pepper flakes, fenugreek, clove, ginger, turmeric, cardamom, black pepper, cumin, coriander, chilli powder, cinnamon, and allspice.”

How long can this be stored for and what is the best method of storage?

It comes in the foil bag, which is inside a resealable plastic bag; however, I put the foil bag inside a resealable freezer bag (Zip-Loc), which is more durable than the thin plastic bag it comes in. Be sure to compress as much air out as possible and place it in a airtight container (Tupperware) and store it in your freezer. The reason for double bagging it and putting it in a container is to prevent it from absorbing moisture and odors. I buy it by the pound and it has stayed fresh and full strength for 9 to 12 months. I use it for a lot of other recipes, as well as in my scrambled eggs, and as a dry rub for my steaks. It can be used in place of cayenne so, if your are heat/spice sensitive use sparingly until you find the right amount for your taste.

I loved the smell and the taste, before the spice kicks in. I used 1tsbp on some lentils and am going to throw most of of it away, it's too hot. I love the blend but will need to find a milder bere bere to be my go-to and use this sparingly. If you love flaming hot food, then this is the bere bere for you.
