Love the handle, it makes it so much easier to use
Love the handle, it makes it so much easier to use. I purchased a different one about a year ago, stainless steel, but no handle on it, I meant to take to my mom’s home, to cook for Mother’s Day… forgot it. I purchased this one as an emergency, got it delivered on the same day. Perfect.I might buy another for my home.

Works great but be careful
I read many reviews about how sharp the needle are, and they are! Be very careful using this device and even more careful cleaning it. I had bought 4 T-Bone steaks, cooked two of them and they were so tough I couldn't eat them. I saved the other two and cooked them this past weekend. I used the tenderizer on both sides for about 4 minutes, seasoned them and cooked the same way as I did before. The meat was so very tender. This product works. But be careful cleaning it, I ended up with a couple of bloody finger tips. I don't like the hollow handle, water gets inside and I worry about mildew growing inside. I left it out a couple of days in different positions to make sure all the water drained out and it was completely dry. I wish they would make this with a solid plastic handle.

WONDERFUL TENDERIZING TOOL
Wonderful product. I have a large one for lots meat at a time but a pain to use for one meat dinner. I used the tool first on a round steak; added baking soda to each side for 10 minutes. Washed the steak and proceded with the recipe. My husband (or snarled when he saw I bought "another gadget") stated it was the tenderest steak he'd ever had. I love sit.

I Would Get An All Steel
It is decent for a newbie i suppose. Needs improvement with stability, I feel like it would work better without the protective gate. That piece may be for safety reasons? Any way, all it does is pancake the steaks. I'd upgrade to the pricier all stainless steel imo.
