Great gift
Got this for a gift for my son in law. He loved it. He is really into these kinds of puzzles and seemed quite pleased with this one. It seems quite sturdy and well made. It was smaller than I expected and I don’t know why but that’s on me. He loved it and so it did it’s first job. He has taken it home and my daughter says he uses it.

Really fun!
Why I bought it: A gift for a TOK teacherShipping: On time and came in a cardboard box the size of the toyThoughts: I actually tried this before I gave it to my teacher and it's really fun and interesting. It's funny to give to other people and tell them to get the middle out of the cage and see their reaction. I really liked it and I really want to get one for myself because it's really fun to fiddle with- especially since I fidget a lot and I can just play with it.The brain teaser comes with instructions and the answer to getting it out. I threw away the answer and gave it to my teacher because that is basically what he did for our class so I wanted him to feel the same :----)The only part that I did not like was that the top comes off... some of the rods are more secure in the base but some come out and it doesn't seem like that's supposed to happen. I understand that this could be so you can easily take it in and out but sometimes it just kind falls apart.I didn't like the way it did that so I just glued the rods in place and they haven't come out yet. I don't mind that I can't take the top off but I also don't mind the challenge to get the middle out.Another thing is that it was scratched up and it made it look old and banged up but I guess if you can overlook that it's fine.

not too difficult
It only took a few minutes for my husband and me to solve this. For 12$, not really worth it.Maybe for a child though,

Nice Little Gift
Very nicely made. Much much better gift for kids, even adults or seniors to use both brain and finger together to solve the puzzle. Much much better than any computer games. No violence and more than just pushing ottons with thumbs.

Easy tactile puzzle that’s fun to re-solve
An easy, fun puzzle that’s great for fidgeting. There’s not much of a trick to it, you basically just fidget with it until you’ve solved it, and then reverse the process. It has got an interesting tactile feel that is satisfying to hold in my hands. Some puzzles are less fun when you’ve solved them, this one doesn’t have that problem.

great for younger kids
I ordered this for my older son because he loves these kind of puzzles but he is too old. This would be great for someone age 8 and under. Still giving 5 stars because my dad loved it and had a great time figuring it out and it still sits on our table for guests to figure out
