Q: I just purchased this mattress. I would like to know if the coils are throughout the mattress or just on the perimeter?

Coils are throughout, but two rows along the edge simply feature stiffer coils. Under HYBRID MATTRESS, it tells you how many coils in each size (360 Twin, 528 Full, 680 Queen, 805 King), far too many to suggest coils only along the edge.

Q: My husband weighs over 200lbs. Will the mattress sag?

I don’t know about sagging because of weight. It seems sturdy enough to hold his weight. My issue is I ordered a 12” mattress and received a 10”. I tried contacting the vendor and the vendor did not correct the issue. Don’t buy 12” it will not expand to 12”.

Q: After unboxing completely, how long do I need to wait before sleeping on this mattress?

I unboxed it on a Saturday afternoon and slept on it that night. The people saying you need to wait 24 hours are confusing this with a memory foam mattress. This is a hybrid which means most of the thickness is from innersprings with a layer of foam on top. Less foam means less time to expand, and the spring allow for a better airflow so the mattress doesn't need to "breathe".

Q: Do I need a box spring for this bed?

No, if you have the bed with slats or platform bed or old spring boxes you have at home. You can buy just mattress alone. Is this answer helpful to you?
