The classic idea of a poodle skirt is not just that it has a poodle but that it is poofy underneath. We were very surprised to get this and there was no tulle under the dress. This costume took about 2 weeks to arrive which was not too bad for coming from China. Other than the fact that I now have to buy or make a tulle underskirt, this is very cute, comfortable and my daughter is very happy. She's tall and 14 years old about 125lbs and a small fit perfectly. It needs to be ironed but it's cute.

I would give this cute little outfit 5 stars if it didn't have the "A" printed on it or ANY letter on the front (it's printed directly on the fabric, not an iron-on letter). I covered the letter with white fabric paint as best I could, and wore the scarf to that side, which helped cover any marks showing from painting over the letter. I have to wear my name tag on the other side anyway (I got this for a 50's themed work event) so that worked out fine. I went by their measurements and it fits me perfectly. I also bought a black crinoline to wear under it, otherwise you won't get the "pouf" effect. I got LOTS of compliments from the residents and staff (I work at a retirement community) and it's nicely made, mostly cotton. Bought white crew socks to wear with it but didn't spring for special shoes, wore some shoes I already had, and the residents said the whole outfit looked authentic and they all LOVED it.

two things that I don't like about this dress is the letter A, when I read the questions and answers they were split some said they had the letter A other they did not. I think the description needs to clearly state if this dress has the A or not. Mine did! I would rather put my own letter on the dress. Or not have any letter. Not everyone's name starts with an A. The second issue is the arm bands are TIGHT! I ripped mine open and sewed an extension into them to make it comfortable to wear for several hours. Otherwise the dress is adorable and fits great. I would but a petticoat to make the dress stand out like a true poodle skirt otherwise it will not and just hang on you.

Perfect easy costume for a sock hop. I ordered a small for my 10 year old, who wears a 10 to 14 in kids or XS-size 0 in juniors. The top part was a bit big but I pinned it in the back and it worked. We also added a petticoat underneath for the added poof in the skirt. The reviews were a little confusing but the A on the top is screen printed on as is the poodle on the skirt. My daughter’s name starts with an A so she didn’t mind.

Others had reviewed it to be small so I ordered up and bought a large. I wear 6-8. I loved the fit.

Okay. So 4 of us women tried on this dress in large. Ranging from 4’11 to 5’8 and from 130 lbs. to 170lbs.It fit each of us but in very different ways. The bust size on the manufactures chart is completely accurate. It’s starts to vary in the waist and length.I recommend a crinoline no matter what because it just makes the dress. The shorter you are, the fuller crinoline you’ll want if you want it shorter. At 4’11, 38E/38/34 my sister felt it was a little to long for her no matter what, but it was a personal preference because it was still really cute on her. At 5’8 it was just above my daughters knees with a crinoline and super super cute with her longer torso.I’m 5’5, 170lbs, 38/36/42 and I loved it on me but it was meant for my daughter. So I gave it to her to wear of course. At 5’3, 36/32/34 it was just as cute on my niece and so on with the others that tried it on.Where it varies is in the waist. The waist runs large because I have a 36 “ waist, my sisters is 38”, my daughter is 34”, etc. you can manipulate the look based on how high or low you wear your crinoline.If you are in doubt with the size like I was, go with the larger size. The material is soft and comfortable AND we all personally liked the black crinoline for contrast but white looked good also.

Omg this is really too cute!! I was a bit nervous about ordering it because it’s always a gamble when it’s coming from overseas and just buying without trying in general, but I couldn’t be more pleased with this!!The material is great and it’s comfy and a little stretchy, and the fact that this outfit is all one piece (other than the accessories) is just great!! It’s absolutely adorable! I bought a black petticoat separately to wear underneath and it’s perfect!I work at a 50s style diner and wanted to do something fun so I decided to go to work dressed up in theme and the results were spectacular.I’m 5’2” and weigh 150, I normally wear a medium or large depending on the type of dress- I’m anywhere between a size 8 and a 12. I went with the xl after much debating and it’s perfect and actually very very flattering.I’d definitely purchase this again. Thinking about buying another in a different color just to switch it up sometimes.

This is a beautifully made dress. Includes the belt and scarf. I ordered a size up and it fit nicely with the exception of the sleeves. My arms are a bit thick and the sleeves cut into my arms. The dress itself has wonderful stretchy fabric but the sleeves had a binding at the hem that prevented the sleeve opening from giving for comfort. If you are handy with a sewing machine and this is a problem for you too, it is an easy fix to open the sleeve at the seam and see in a piece of fabric to give you more room. I had to add 2”. This took me less than an hour. And worked like a charm. The whole look is adorable. Do add a crinoline. It really makes the skirt look full.

Für 5€ ist die Qualität wirklich hervorragend. Größe passt, Farbe auch wie abgebildet. Sehr zufrieden.Die Kleidungsstücke, die sich zu Karnveval und Halloween in so manch einem "Lebensmittelgeschäft" finden, sind von weitaus geringerer Qualität und kosten wesentlich mehr.

Ist bei den Armen leicht zu eng, ansonsten ein sehr schönes Kleid.
