It replaced my Original Endless Pool pump
It works great, I just had to remove the parts attached to the pump. The screw that holds the Impeller to the whole thing is left hand thread. I wish I'd knew bc I would have saved money. Yeah I broke off the Impeller then thought if I used my impact to go the opposite direction bc sometimes it can help to loosen it. Yup the screw came right off.

Great Deal!
Pool guy said it would be $600 to $800 to replace motor and would be a couple of weeks until he had time. By then pool water would look like a pond! I ordered this motor and got it quick. Installed myself. No problem but if your on 220v like me and don’t have experience with electrical you might want to call an electrician to wire it up for you. Other than that an easy install and motor is a lot quieter than the one it replaced. Hopefully will last a long time but after reading a couple of other reviews where the motor didn’t last a year I decided to buy the extended 3 year warranty along with it. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a replacement.

Good Replacement Motor - Don’t Expect Long Life
Had to send back first one because of annoying high pitch sound. Likely bad bearing. Second one is working fine. Serious pain to have to install it twice. Not so much problem of the seller, but the manufacturer. Last one we installed lasted only 1 year. And all were carefully installed to manufacturer specs.

NOT BUILT TO LAST!
Same issue as other reviews here..."It didnt last long". Now its so loud, Im getting complaints from the neighbors. I really expected to get more time out of this brand. I have to look for another motor to replace this and one things for sure, "I will NEVER buy an A.O Smith product again".

Just what I needed
This pump came in quickly and was super easy to install, just remember to switch the black screw to 110 volts if using 125v hook up
